If it hadn't been for cotton-eye Joe
I'd been married a long time ago
Where did you come from where did you go
Where did you come from cotton-eye Joe
He came to town like a mid-winter storm
He rode through the fields
So handsome and strong
His eyes was his tools
And his smile was his gun
But all he had come for was
Having some fun
He brought disaster wherever he went
The hearts of the girls was to
Hell broken sent
They all ran away so nobody would know
And left only men cause of cotton-eye Joe

La- de-dah!!!!

See, everyone had fucking big hair in the 80's. Just get over your egos and post your hair, faggots!

I'll see if i can find some of my "poodle" pics from the 80's. My mom has most of em. *shudder* There are a couple that I don't think I can allow to be scanned and put on the internet... I'll see what I can do.

LOl That is kewl. I was on the track team in 89,90,91. What time frame was this? Just curious, I might have stayed in school if I knew girls like you existed there:)

Actually, the picture was taken in 1998. I had twirled since I was 5 years old, and since doing that at UT constituted half of my education being paid for, it really wasn't a bad deal. As for the hair, it was a requirement to have the big hair, but I definitely had the technique for achieving it down well. LOL

Very cool. I did the track and cross country thing from 90-94.

We get a new scanner this weekend, and yes, I'll be more than happy to post pictures of my gigantic eighties hair.

i can honestly say taht i never had big hair due to curling, teasing or waht not. but, if i cut it short, my hair resembles a 'fro...

becca was in the utk band form '98-01. we went to high school with a few of the other majorettes-lori leffel, michelle blazier. we went to south-doyle.

I don't recall ever having Huge hair, although my natural curl can make for some interesting styles. I was lucky during the eighties to be in ballet and so I always had long hair, which kept it from getting too wild. The scariest pictures of me in the eighties are no-hair bun-head types where I gelled my hair to rock solid form!!
