Technically, it wazn't a nipple shot since the nipple waz covered... that fine line haz been established within strip clubz 4 yearz.
was the nipple covered? what I saw, from the pictures, was that she was wearing a nipple sheild, which covers the area around the nipple, but the center is open, am I mistaken? Does that count as being covered?

The piercing held the shield in place. Looking closely, as in the pix, you can see nipple.

It simply turned into a touchy subject when children were involved ... that's all.

HA I was on the I dont care side of this fence till I went to work today and asked this girl if she had seen it.....(small talk you know) and she said
Lori:yeah, I dont see the big deal, its jsut a boob.
Me: Yeah but there were children in the crowd.
Lori: But everyone has them, I mean its a fact of life.
Me: Dude! there were kids who saw that on TV and in the crowd, you dont let kids see that stuff!
Lori: Man those kids have seen their moms boob Im sure.I mena I dont see the problem with it.
Me: Are you crazy? For the same reason you dont take kids to a strip show, and over to micheal Jacksons house......are you retarded.
hmph, guess it was a touchy subject. and thats where I stand

Ok....So people have a problem with a little nudity and some don't. That's cool with me. But,what I wanna know is, how come a football player can smack a team mates ass and no-one has a problem with that? How come another man can reach between another man's legs to fetch a ball, and it still be okay? Don't even get me started on field goals.
My opinion on all this...
I have been waiting for years for their to be freedom of expression and lack of censorship on TV. I view tit....I mean it, as a step closer in the right direction. (And I agree with JC that MTV will no doubt have higher ratings)
As far as kids seeing TV once it becomes uncensored?
I'm against it. But,I am all for allowing a ratings system that lets the parents know what's up in TV,Music, books, art, and Video games. Something like the ESRB rating video games have now. But,if they did this....the parents might have to pay more attention to their children! (GASP) Oh well it needs to happen anyway.
Chidren and Adults should not be made to see images or made to think a certain way or go against their beliefs. But,then again...where does it say we have to watch TV at all?
I know I cannot stand the comercials about "Will prevent heartattack, stroke, pegions flying from your ass" so I change the channel....or turn off the TV. Just like when the Twin Towers incident happened,it upset me,so I turned off the TV for a few days...or should I say just played video games, read, and watched movies. To me their is a million things in this world that offends me,but,I choose to ignore them the best I can. And I do a pretty good job. Sometimes crap leaks in that I don't want to see, hear, taste smell,But if everyday were perfect, what would perfect mean to me? Answer=Squat
To get off subject. The twin Towers incident had real deaths in motion all over broadcast TV. And the media covered it because it was "News". Why did people not have a problem with this. They showed the airing all over Patrick's and Laura's schools and I'm sure 75% of all of our kids in school saw that. The kids were really given no option (unless it was against their religion to watch TV) but,to watch it. Why did more people not have a problem with that? And instead of hearing why that happened from their parents first, they were told by teachers and students first. Is that right?

You know when I think kabout it, I was really wearing too much more that Janet when I went to Santcus, and since I left my house around 8ish, does that mean that I should of been censored?
Also, does Lori have children? People who have kids and those who don't live in totally differant worlds.

No
Sanctus is an area of consenting adults, over the age of 18......not 3 or 4. Be Nakey as you wanna be a sanctus or any other club or bar for that matter. Bring your kids to sanctus....we are gonna have problems. Look I am not being conservative about this. I am one of the biggest screamers against censorship...........for consenting, of age, ADULTS......I do not talk to Ms. Tangledwebs in the same way or on the same subject as a speak to her daughter gwen. Its as simple as that. I am all about do what you will......but DO NOT corrupt children. Yes children will learn these facts of life......MUCH LATER, and hopefully with the guidance of their parents. A lot of this could have been avoided had the FCC been notified that something liek this might happened and the rating system had been in place for the halftime show.....

No Lori does not, and I pray every night (not just for this reason but lots more) that she never does. HOWEVER, I dont either. I dont care if people raise their kids to accept nudity as an everyday part of life......but just dont expect others too.

Before I had kids I wouldn't have gave a crap, but now I have this instinct to keep them away from stuff like that. But then again, eventually, their going to see it anyway. Right now their so young they can't determine whether its right or wrong, that's for me to decide & it can be a bit pressuring at times! Cuz I begin to question, well is it right?, wrong?, how can I explain this so they understand? blah blah blah. I grew up in a tight Christain home & I swore I would never raise my kids that way because we were so limited in what we did, things we saw. For now, I would prefer to keep my children away from things like that, until I can explain it to them in a way they will understand. Now my 10 year old, when she moved up here from Fl. I couldn't believe some of the things she told me she watched, but that's just because her mother was never there. Now she get's mad at me cuz I won't let her watch "Friday"!!
Whatevah!

Again.... Why in the world would parents let their children watch the Super Bowl in the first place? It is not children's programming. If a parent is upset that their child saw Janet's breast it is their own damn fault, not the network's or Janet Jackson's. Every Super Bowl has things in it that are just as offensive, if not more so depending on what an individual's value system is. So, parents should have known better, just as they should know better than to let their child watch HBO late at night.
For all i care they can have hard core porn as the half time show. Any child of mine (once she gets here) or any child under my care won't be watching it anyway, because it is innapropriate programming for children even before all the ruckus started up about a breast being shown.

We were not even watching the SuperBowl! Im simply stateing my opinion, I cant speak for anyone else, but Im not about to argue with anyone on this subject cuz frankly I dont give damn. Whether parents were letting their children watch the SuperBowl or not still doesn't make it ok that Janet Jackson exposed her breast. There is no excuse! And that isn't even the point Im trying to make! Man, forget it, this shit is pointless!
Im outta here.........

ummm..... at no point did i say that you did. i remember catching where you said in a previous post of your's that you and your child were not watching it, and thinking "Wow, cool... RavenLunatic is a good parent that pays attention to what her children are exposed to."
i was just saying that i don't understand the parents that complain about their children seeing something innapropriate when they were letting them watch something innapropriate in the first place. That is just plain hypocritical. Which, unless there is a post on here that i'm not remembering off of the top of my head, does not apply to anyone here.
