Fun Sanctus

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Jason, once again I want to tell you how much your set rocked. This Sanctus was the best music-wise that I've been to and I'm rather pleased :) I hope to hear Jake spin again soon.

i really have to agree with the music thing.
it was a bit loud but zeo and jasons sets were both fucking great.
i thought it was music-wise more on point than usual. but i usually dig the music. so im at a brick wall here. i dont make enough to say THIS ALWAYS GET PLAYED............ hahah. so i dunno.
i guess what i mean is: good set list all the DJs.. i enjoyed the music alot. keep zeo around to DJ more

and i'm going to have to add another glowing review. this is the 3rd sanctus i've attended and it was the best. ever since i got back from my trip to nyc i've been craving the dance. (even though i danced by myself and had no gropers)

I tried to post last night, but the computer ate it.

I noticed alot of new folks and have yet to meet alot of you. Maybe a Sanctus with name tags will help? "giggle"
I had a good time hanging with SD and Lady I.
Ms Tanglewebs was so cute all bumbly and stumbly, oh and the shiny sparklie boobies were nice.
The music was great. I normally don't notice the music, I don't prefer the dance stuff, but this time, I actually loved it. Good Work DJ's.

I missed a few monkeys.

As for the unwanted touching, I had none, but empathize with those that did. Ladies, please make sure you advise someone in the future, or come find me. I have found a pointy shoe up someone's butt makes them stop.

Good to talk to you Junkie, I have missed you.

Honest, it ate it as well with my Xanga post. I have a rather old computer that is tempermental to say the least.

By the by, you looked cute at Sanctus, we should get together and chat. It has been along time and I finally remembered you.
Damn old age.

i, myself, am a bit of a touch-me-not. a hug is fine, but other than that its just prolly best for people not to touch me unless they have permission.

An interesting night...

Post by Scorptrio »

I'm not a complainer by nature, so let me preface this with, "The worst night at Sanctus is better than the best night at home." Overall, a very strange Sanctus with odd energies. The "new moon" Sancti always feel this way. The music was awesome and I really wanted to dance more but it seemed too hot and too loud inside, though this may have been due to a pounding headache… damn those Long Island Iced Teas anyway. It was too cold to stay out for long, especially with lending my coat to shivering ladies (my pleasure, of course.) If only there had been more merchants and the upstairs had been open, it might have provided a happy medium for temperature and volume. Next Sanctus should be warm enough to solve the too-hot/too-cold problem; let's just hope it's not raining. As for the groping, there was nearly an incident, had not the lady decided that it wasn't worth one or two of her friends ending up bleeding, kicked out and/or arrested. Goddamnit people, when a lady tells you to stop touching her: STOP TOUCHING HER!

On a lighter note, I met a fascinating gentleman with a third eye, blue beard, Crowley shirt and occult pendants. Great conversation ensued. It's always a pleasure to meet a fellow practitioner of the ars magica. If you're reading this, my new friend, drop me a line.

Ms. Kitty, I didn't get a chance to tell you, but you outdid yourself this time. What a great outfit! Meow! You looked fantastic, in and out of your coat.

After midnight it was my son's 15th birthday. He has blue hair, wears a black leather jacket with studs he put on himself and band pins/patches. He goes by something similar to "EviLpUnK" on-line and just bought his first electric guitar. I'm so proud! ;) Just three years and he'll be out at Sanctus breaking the young girls' hearts.

I know there are more pictures out there to be posted too, so if you were shutterbugging it, please post them! I'm pretty sure it was Rachel who took at least two pictures of me and I'd like to see them! As for the ladies who were giving me the eye or who snuck a caress before coyly disappearing into the crowd, see my new tagline and send me a PM!

A month is too long to wait to see all you beautiful people again…

Thank you everyone who came out. Those I invited that showed as well as those I did not have the pleasure of meeting.
I had a great night, and I enjoyed all our sets, especially Arkady's when I first got there around midnight. Was good, hard, techno-industrial dance music pretty much all night. Great to see everyone dancing and having a good time.
Thank all of you for the compliments on my set too, hope to spin again soon! :)

That is my friend Norris btw. He does not come out much anymore, but I dragged him out this month and he rode up with me. I directed his attention to this thread.

Thanks Zeo

Thanks for reminding me of Norris' name. I can remember anything but a name. Must be a glitch in my DNS wetware. One of my favorite pastimes is talking philosophy, religion, magick, occultism, etc. I found him to be intelligent and articulate. Norris, send me a PM or email and we'll plan to meet at a coffee house or somewhere and continue our discussion. Anyone else who enjoys this sort of talk would be welcome too, of course. Meeting new and interesting people is one of the best aspects of all Sancti.

Celtic! I didn't mean it like that, silly. :P~

Yeah, I think I saw you, monstergirlie...but I wasn't sure. But now that I think about it, I think it was you. Oh well.

Shadow, I wanted to meet you and I didn't get to, dammit. Maybe next time.

I think you know that you are one of the VERY FEW that has an open invite to groping and nibbling me without getting punched! :D

Sorry it's taken so long for me to post a reply, but when i'm working i don't have time to do anything else. I had a very kick ass time this time around.

Coor it was nice to meet you. Joe, it was an honor to meet you big guy.

And all and all, i have to say all those involved actually made me feel that i'm part of the scene, not someone that only visit's time to time. And Junkie, it was good to meet you, too bad didn't get a chance to talk though. I plan on seeing you all next month.
