Okay, when Nine inch nails plays at sanctus....

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Well, The End was extremely successful and none of the DJs played "mass appeal" sets.

Exactly. Proving that both schools of thought have merit. Now we can have two hugely successful nights with different musical styles represented & appreciated. Can we say at long last that the scales feel more balanced, perhaps? I'm sure The End & it's musical range may feel like a victory for those whose musical cravings have gone unsatisfied, & I'm really happy that you've found such success with it. It's great that both camps can have what they want & the entire community can benefit from the variety.

I certainly hope so. Unfortunately, recent events have not indicated that to be completely true.

i think the notion of a busy dance floor equals success is very important to the club and the promoters early on in the life of a club or club night in order to show that people ill come to the club to have a good time, spread the word about how much fun they had dancing and drinking etc etc, once the night is established that notion can relax because the people are going to come and the club can relax a lil cuz they know they have a base crowd that is going to be there.

not a fact just an opinion

Let us then set a better example & maybe everyone can finally leave the sqabbling alone & let it just die. Would that not be truly goff? ;)

I think the majority of the community would love to see the bitter bickering be given it's last repsects & be done with. Hell, it's monotonous & boring by now. Surely we can come up with more interesting drama than that. Hell, it's an election year! That's always dramatic in this country.

As do I. Unfortunately, the orchestrators of the community do not always act in accordance with the will of the majority of the populace.

Or remind them that it's a democracy in which we vote with our dollars and asses. :D

No, sorry Caustic, I should have said "except Caustic" there. I beg your forgiveness, sir. ;)

Sure, it's somewhat of a democracy, but even better because it can be a win-win situation for the entire community. No one needs to lose for everyone to win. Coke & Pepsi, dammit! And I'll brew some tea for the hippies.
