Am I the only one that recognizes that this is the forum of what?
Knox...... Gothic.......
I don't think anyone should try to make me feel bad or wrong because I point out that a night is not completely Gothic yet it posts in here to redirect us to an event? that could or could night be.
anyway.... out

Seriously, we could definately use improvement on the scene, but I think everyone does a pretty good job of doing their best. We are and will always be Knoxville. We are small, our music is often mediocre, but we know how to have a damn good time. Case in point, thet's my ass Buttercup is licking!

Once agian with the bashing of Hip hop. I just have to ask how much hip hop have you listened to? And know, I am not talking about that Drivel they platy on the radio, I am talking underground stuff, becuase I could rattle off about a dozen hip hop artists that could fit into a goth set seamlessly. Meat Beat Manifesto Worked with DJ Z Trip on their latest album, and DJ Shadow has tons of stuff that fit the mood and theme that most "Goth" artist strive for but cannot match. But then agian there are artists in every Genre of music that cna do that, I mean Johnny Cash is another good example of this and he is about as country as you can get. But then agian like my tag says I am just the token hip hop kid here., I am just sick of hearing people bash a genre of music they know nothing about.batsandcats wrote:The goth scene is a mix but i know it isn't hip hop.....
