Can't say for sure. But I can say KG gets semi regular hits from .gov servers...aka US goverment servers.
Oh some time back, a link for KG showed up on a local broadcast TV news story about subversive Knoxville area websites....lol

Never saw the story myself but i had SEVERAL people mention to me that they saw this huge link to KG in the middle of the webpage they showed during the story.

We are all under watch by the NSA, FBI, & CIA now ;-)

yea but anyone from a .gov server would show that a government server hit it.
like if a user has a government or military job.

i would be very surprised if at least one didn't browse the site every now and again. i mean, it's not like some other sites, where you have to be registered to view a thread.

hell, i'd be very surprised if they didn't anonymously browse any local forum - not just talking about "gothic dark and spooky" forums, but any - they stumble upon. it just seems like the smart thing to do. after all, they did it back in the days of the BBS's, i don't see why they'd abandon such an easy way of keeping up on wtf is going on in the world.

and kg has done something a lot of other local forums haven't: it's advertised. if anyone thinks that this board hasn't come under scrutiny to some degree or another, they're either very naive, or very stupid.

that's one of the most important reasons that the mods here do, in fact, moderate.

i hope you're not trying to be incognito, with a question like that. lol

but hey, it's a job. if someone gives you shit for it, give 'em hell.

likewise, if someone gave me shit for programming, screw 'em.

working for a living isn't a crime.

just because someones different than you doesnt mean they are normal
they shop at different stores
they do different things
they deal with things different

theres normal people everywhere. its all thru the looking glass.
normal is a just the relativity of comfort in routine if you ask me.
normal just means you hide things better.

i know way many more "normal" people in a "scene" than i do in my professional life, no fucking question.

back to topic on that, normal people have no weight in the law. just red flags and red tape as far as i can see.
people said Gacy was normal.

Junkie you're tho thmart.

I agree with you. Just because you wear black or vinyl or get lip service ads in your email doesn't make you weird or unique. I've met far more interesting and unique people in the real world than I have in the KG/KF scene. If you try really hard to dress goth, listen to all the spooky crap music or try really hard to fit in, you are no different than the average sorrostitute.

The most unassuming are generally the most fascinating.

BTW, I have Gacy's signature. It belonged to my stepdad and somehow I got it.

To make things clear. When I say normal I mean the mainstream. But everyone has their own Idea about how things are.

except, perhaps, a goff who's under the sun, who isn't complaining about being under the sun, and that they'd much rather be out at night.

that would be, in fact, new.
