I believe I first started going by "iblis" on the Cyrenaics Haven BBS (WWIV) in '95. That, or The Lost Realms (Telegard).

And according to pantheon.org:

Iblis, formerly called Azazel, was a jinn when captured by angels and carried off as their prisoner. He grew up among them and became an archangel. He was cast down when refusing to prostrate before the man Adam. Since he has roamed the earth, his domain, seeking to capture the souls of men.

It was unanimous amongst those who met me that the screen name was fitting.

For those that know me, the dancer part is obvious because most of the time, I can be found on the dancefloor in a club. The shadow part comes from the fact that I am quite a reserved individual at times. I would go out to club nights and only come out of the shadows to dance. That quickly changed after one particular person called me on it and I began getting become more acquainted with several of the wonderful people from this forum. :)

OK, I guess I will fess up on the nickname.

I am usually very shy and stay in the shadows, and most my female friends in high school were blonde ( I have very dark hair, ifin ya don't know me).

Folks just would ask my blond friends who was the shadow that hung out with them, and it stuck.

I think it fits me. "shrug"

That's bout it. Silly ain't it?

Ignatious is my persona's name in the SCA. I play a Jesuit priest in the late 1500's. Thus my name sake is Ignatius de Loyola(1491-1556). I added the Saint part just for fun, and it seemed to fit.
I can be quite saintly at times. Also, I'm quite a huge fan of The Boondock Saints film. :bangbang: As if you couldn't tell by my signature. On top of this I have already preformed one of three miracles needed for sainthood.

I'm a vegan who drinks cokes, shops at walmart occasionally, and eats at restaurants without worrying too much about the ingredients in food.

Thats about as evil as a vegan can get.

I will not disclose any names, places, or locations. However, let's just say a certain someone said some words, they thought, they would never hear themself say ever again.

Hmm...
Well, long story... abridged version:

I used to fly helicopters.. for a gov't agency... Got my training young..(19) was pretty good, too.. Anyway, I was into the whole 'Vampire' thing for several years prior to and following my 'position'... Had long hair, wore black, etc... ALL the time. One day, the CO was looking for a pilot to execute a particular mission, and not getting any immediate volunteers, asked who would be recommended by the chief instructor... My name was brought up, and the CO not knowing me by name, said Who?? And the Instructor's response was, 'You know, the vampilot guy'...
hehe! so it stuck... Kinda the same way navy pilots get thier names... I found it hand-printed on fuggin everything within 24hrs...

(BTW- not all gov't positions require you to be clean-cut and 'military' looking.... ) I chased drug runners... DEA...

This is kind of funny, but it was chance that I ended up the infamous C-A-T. When I finished cosmetology school, I had to prepare for my state board exams. There are very strict guidelines about the condition of equipment, having proper sanatization, sealing up paper and coardboard items that are not sanatizable in a sealed bag, etc. One of the State Board rules is you cannot have the name of the school you attended displayed on the kit or bag that your equipment is in. My case was a hardsided black case with a giant school logo on the top. I went to disc exchange to find a sticker to cover the logo, and the only one big enough was Felix the Cat.
I later used the same case to transport my equipment for the fetish shows. At one point somebody insisted everyone had to have a stage name. I had to be on stage in fifteen minutes, so I thought fast. As it turned out the same somebody had wanted to use the name, but I ended up with it. I guess it just kind of stuck.

Well, as cheesy as it is:
MotM= Memories of the Misery

It is not as dark and gothly as is sounds, it's basically a personal mantra for remembering the past.
Remember where you came from, remember the history that has happened, the good, the bad. Take the good and draw on it, let it repeat itself, hope it does. Take the bad and learn from it, keep it from happening again. We have some of the "freedoms" we have because of great loss and tragedy, be thankful for the things we do have, no matter how little or much.
That's my story.

Well let's see....... My name..... me and a friend of mine were talking after i watched the movie Hackers, it was the first time he watched it and it was about the 150th time that i watched it.

Back to the story, we were talking and he asked me, "If you were a hacker what would your screen name be." I thought about it and the first thing that came to mind was False Absolution, I like it because it is a contridiction as well..... plus it's a medaphore for how i looked at acted in class gave me an image and people, when they got to know me i was a polar opposite, because i do things that would get someone in trouble if they were caught... but i tend to do things so i won't get caught.

Plus as an added bonus it also serves as a medaphore for my life, whenever i think i've got something for certain.... no questions asked..... no doubt in my mind that i'm gonna get it or something's gonna happen....... IT NEVER HAPPENS.... well not like or when i first think it's going to.

False Hope to False Absolution when your hope turns into what you know...... but you were wrong....... so i guess you could say that this is same thing as hey i'm always wrong....... I bet my wife would love that one.......

I was doing research on the sun sphere so I could build a model of it, and came across that local sunsphere religions page, so i signed up with what i thought sounded like someone coming out of the waste land looking for a religion (i also thought it commented on how i love to travel but cant since i got trapped here), the that sight had a link to this sight (A guy who use to work here had told me about it but for some reason hadnt been able to get to it at that time) and not sure if I would cross wires or something I used the same name.

My r/l name means Beloved Red/Fire King who is the son of the Boar. maybe that would be more gothy.
