That's one of those great ideas, like substituting "black" wherever you'd normally put "Goth", and calling it a Black Ball. Wish I'd thought of that one, too!
Hey, wait...
I did.
And I am honored that y'all used it.

You were born in the 14th or 15th century???? WOW!!!

Quick update... There will be some belly dancers at the Black Ball, dressed up in scant jingly costumes, and everything. Does that suck, or what?

That's horrible.

What time? Should I have some Arabian-influenced music on hand?

Rock the Kazaa.

Nah...all new arabian music sounds like the Clash on an off night...and you wouldn't want to play bad '80's sounding music would ya?

Do you have any cutting-edge Arabian industrial music? I guess you wouldn't be able to find that, as they have no industry. Oh well. I'm sure yards of jigglin', half-naked belly dancer is none diminished when accompanied by Skinny Puppy. :P

Reminds me of Godsmack's last concert, they had scantily clad belly dancers, this should be interesting

Obviously, I'm not at Sanctus right now. For many reasons, the Asheville crew will instead be coming up for Black Ball. Sorry for the confusion.

Carry on. :)

Well some of the Asheville crew made it to Sanctus :P I for one had great time. It was a pleasure and an honor to be around so many friendly people. I can't wait till the next one!!! And a little update on the Asheville scene...The shop I work at will be renting the club you all attended. This should be a most interesting Samhain. We're also going to be having a Rocky Horror Picture Show party on Oct. 17. I was recently informed that I will be coming as rocky...so come if for no other reason to laugh at a punk in a gold thong  . Well, I've rambled enough for one post.

Thanks for a wonderful evening,

Shaggy and the tiny Asheville raid

I'm going to try to be there. I was at the August Sanctus and I sat by myself most of the night. It was pretty embarrassing!

I just moved back here from Hollywood and I can't seem to fit in anywhere anymore. So, if anyone wants to be pen-pals or hang out with me-PLEAZE let me know! :)

If you check this, you'll see that I've rounded up 14:59 Records to help support the Black Ball this Saturday. This is of special interest when you consider that our own local Synthpopalooza is on 14:59 Records.

Giveaways are to be expected.

:-) Just wanted to say thanks to Caustic for allowing 14:59 to be a part of this evening! I'm sure that the crowd will love whatever Caustic decides to use in his setlist from 14:59.

I would like to offer to everyone the opportunity to contact me directly via email for more information about 14:59 artists and happenings. There's alot to tell, so I'll probably add you to the email group list (just so there's no hidden surprises!)

Again, thanks. Any feedback on our artists is definately appreciated!

Best wishes,

Sean Patrick
