amazongoddess wrote:Or come to think of it, since we've already had two people mention that they have a few midgets, there might possibly be three calendars in the works. ....... Keep the same format as what we've discussed for the women's...based on b'days...and allow whoever shows to be in it??? as long as they sign a release?
Might I suggest that the midget one could have just groups of the baby goths.... there are four (at least) reasons behind this thought... 1) I don't know if every month is covered; 2) We have lots of siblings who might want to be together; 3) even as cute as our kids are... if there is only one per month... they may not be able to hold the picture alone (I hope that makes sense), but it would look great to have them together; 4) I know I (and most other adoring parents here) wouldn't mind seeing my mini me more than one month a year

Just a couple thoughts, feel free to disregard as necessary.

Actually, for that particular calendar, I like that idea. And I agree that most of the parents are probably going to want to see their babies more than once. So yeah.
Jay, how's that work out for you? Group shots? If nothing else, we could plan a couple of afternoons, maybe next spring, for partents to bring out the little goths for a "day at the park?"...or something like that. And just do candids, throughout the day??? Just a thought.
Any other suggestions for the kiddie calendar?

group shots are fine, they take a bit more to get right cuz you have to get all the faces cute at the same time, but its not imossible, a few afternoons at the park or zoo or some such place should take care of that -
also, my wife has offered to pose if you so choose to use her
which brings me to the next point, how are you going to decide who is in it?

Ok, I've already said this a couple times, but for those that have missed it....
Here's the requirements you have to meet to be in the calendar:
1. When we decide on a photo op date/time....show up!
2. Sign the model release form.
3. Be proud of what and who you are.
This is not a contest. There is no contest! The idea was began because we wanted a way to showcase the many different types of people that make up our gothic community. Once again, it's not going to be about who looks best in a corset or who shows up at the most KG events. It's about a community.

I knew all of this.. but me being an implant into the Knox "scene" from clarksville/nashville wondered if that made a difference.

They want you in the calendar. Trust me, they do. The only issue is whether or not they hold the photoshoots on a day you can make it out here.
And now, since I've gone against my own better judgement and posted here.. Ahem.. What's the "dress code" for the calendar? I'm sure there are some who would appreciate something that they could post in their cubicle in a reasonably non-conservative work enviroment.. And then there's some, myself included, who would be thrilled with a little more.. titillating photography.. There are a few exhibitionists in the bunch, so how much is too much for this calendar, in regards to flesh tone shown?

Thank you hun. And yes, I agree a date that coincides with my schedule is gonna be the tricky part.

Yeah, if you can make it, I am sure you will be wanted in it. Look at me, I'm very not-so-Goth but I am going to be there! Hehe.

Silent Screams...You're welcome to join us, if it's on a date that you can make it out.
Lord Hades, I'm not sure yet what the dress code will be. That's something I'll have to discuss further with tat2jay, in order to get some guidelines. However I'm sure we'll have something for everyone to enjoy.
Tat2jay what are your oppinions on the dress? I think it is important to keep it so that people can hang it in a cubicle, if they so choose. However you're the photographer and I'm up for a little fun with these. How far do you think we can take it, within reason?

i am thinking dress should be somthing you would wear to dinner before going to sanctus or the end
that should cover enough to be legal, but interesting enough to reflect the style
what ya think?

That sounds good. Since we want to allow everyone to be able to keep their personal style, but as you said, keep it legal, that should be a good guideline.
Any other suggestions?
