Where in this post did he say anything about being mythological? I don't see it. Maybe I am blind or something but I don't.

He didn't. I was making a reference to vampires being from many myths and folktales told around the world through many centuries. Since there has been no physical proof to date that vampires exsist, I still chalk them into the "mythical" catagory along with unicorns, elves, faires, cockatirices, dragons, phenonix, a physical representaion of the holy grail and klingons.
