I am going to wait and buy it at the show, but Sleater Kinney's the Woods comes out next Tuesday. I've had the mp3's of the whole album for a while now. It's very good. I highly recommend it. Oh, I also got mp3's of the new Dressy Bessy album. It sounds pretty good too. It comes out June 14th. I will definitely be picking it up as well.

You've been busy. How was this? Never heard of this Controlled Bleeding release.
This weekend I picked up:
John Zorn - IAO: This is one of Zorn's Crowley tribute albums. Dark ambient exoticism, ethnic percussion exercises, hypnotic suspense-film music, thrash, and avant-garde classical. More nice and fairly mellow stuff.

this just came out on hospital productions
i really like it
here's how they review it
which is pretty much cut and dry
nearly 80 minutes of the most animalistic and violent industrial noise to ever crack the crust of the earth. complies and reworks early and unreleased out of print noise classics as well as brand new noise aberrations. for fans of early CB ala knees and bones and bladder bags!

feat: annie stubbs of SPK
and a cover of cabaret voltaire - nag nag nag
brilliant new noise
I'll have to look up Sudden Infant. I have a couple of SPK releases and like them quite a bit.
Who is covering Nag nag nag? I plan on using the original Cab Voltaire for an Industrial History night if it comes to pass, and would like to check out the cover too.
“That proves you are unusual, returned the Scarecrow; and I am convinced the only people worthy of consideration in this world are the unusual ones. For the common folks are like the leaves of a tree, and live and die unnoticed.â€
Onibubba here's all the info on the sudden infant i was talking about
the guy that put this out is in a band with me and lives down the street
