I really miss those days.
Remember when Sara Crass came to PE as Aphrodite and had no clothes on?!
I had to miss the PE reunion party.... was it last year or the year before? But I was out of town. Supposedly I was on the "Interview" video that we did @ Brents house. I see Greg @ Cha Cha here & there.......... miss that shit! I do know someone who is writing a book about all those times......
First off, it's PleasureTech w/ a "CH".
Second, Sara was "UnDressed" as Lady Godiva.
I missed the party as well.
Someone should've compiled a contact list.
If they didn't, it MUST be done next time.
Sorry, I dont have the CD if front of me... that was 14 years ago... god were getting old
She was naked by the time I got there
They did: Lisa Atchley... I have her # somewhere.....

It's where I met Degan's Mom...

wtf ever happened to andrea?
not andrea martin and her cute little rabbit cabriolet and fluevogs in an era when fluevogs were impossible to find and all the girls hated, the OTHER andrea. the theatrical broad with the red hair who hung out with jeff johnson and don boshears.
speaking of don boshears, who remembers jeff johnson dragging me up the stairs by my neck and depositing me in the middle of the dancefloor? i do!
like i knew they were dating.
just in case his looks have dissolved, don was quite handsome at that point. other than that, i have no defense.
is sara still around? i had totally forgotten about her.
also, i found a great picture of chuck on flickr. he's degraded nicely into a rock fossil, if this is actually him:

OMG! It IS Chuck! I think......wow! How the hell did you find THAT?
Andrea.... I dont know. Ran into her about....ummmmm.....5 years ago maybe...... Sara..... Saw her in the Old City about 2 years ago with Greg & Greg & Dawn B..... she was doing well.... having a baby but giving it up for adoption to this really cool gay couple in California. I normally wouldny talk about ones personal stuff like that on the net, but #1.... its Sara, and she was really open, excited and happy with doing that.... and #2, 98% of the folks on here dont even know who the fuck we are talking about. I was really happy for her and she seemed to be doing great. I still have her number from running into them, dont know if its still good or not....

i
totally got lucky. i was looking for pictures of my old house at the back of the alley and there he was.
good to hear sara's well. she was one of my favorite folks from that period. knoxville was fairly well known as kind of a rocker's paradise as far away as chicago, particluarly with the industrial crowd up here. i know folks in town who used to be in nitzer ebb and die warzau; they'd heard all about planet earth and the underground. i always got knowing nods when i would say i was from k-ville. seems odd the social arena's shrunken a lot since then.
the punk scene seems to have taken its place in notoriety. there was recently a big influx of young knoxvillians to my neighborhood on the west side up here, they're all working with punk planet now.
oh, other people. john whitehead lives up here too; i've seen him once. jessamy thomasson is apparently in town too, but i've not heard from her.

I saw her old side-kick.... what was his name?.........I want to say Christian.....tall....goth....feminine...well spoken....always wore a cross....gay.....ummm.....shit! Anyhow... I saw him @ temple about two months ago....he didnt know where she was...

Dark Elf, aka Brian, is a couple years younger than me, but when he started coming out, he had Long Black hair.
At the time, so did I, and many would call us by each other's names. LOL
If you KNEW either of us, it was silly, but passing acquaintances often confused us with each other.
The Elven Door was on Gay near Summit Hill, then it moved to Kingston Pike near Krystal and Homburg Place.
His cat was usually in the windows of the curtained shopfront on Gay.
I'll let him say when he shop opened, but he came out for a good while before opening the shop.
I learned to dance by watching the Count, and Prince and other sources, then Brian came along and watched me...
There was a Time at 121 when I swear Brian, Rick Wasserman and I would all be dancing as SLOWLY as humanly possible, almost like a Competition of Balance and Poise, usually dancing in 1/4 time to the music, in-between the upbeat cuts.
When Brian FIRST came out, he danced Frantically until the night I approached him and told him to "Calm Down, Relax, and Listen to the FLOW of the music instead of every 1/16th note"!
After that, it was ON!
