We will never die alone
Juggalos will carry on
Swing our hatchets if we must
Each and every one of us
Please keep hating Juggalos cause I don't want you fucks in my family. Funny how the you talk big shit when you got you key board protecting you. I'm not trying to start shit but fuck I can only be call a stupid retarded cult member so much before i have to stand up for my FAM. Funny how no one ever comes up to tell me how much they hate me cause I'm a Jugglao. And I do claim all the lame ass loser shit eating mall rat fuckers as my family. Because that is what makes me a juggalo I have respect for my brothers and sisters. We have each others backs thats what makes us Family. Something alot of people don't know about. Alot of you are only out for yourself and thats what I think is sad. I'm drunk so I'm going to shut up. So can we leave the Juggalo thing alone cause personally I think alot of the freeks in Knoxville are super cool and I would hate to start handing out F U's and beat downs over some shit like this.

one more quick note on what lotus said, and maybe this will clear things up. every single person on this earth is a brother or a sister. GET THE FUCK OVER IT!!! i'm sick of getting static for what i believe. and yeah, i'm probably one of the ones who WOULD take it to a cult level if i could. i believe in something, and shangri-lah is waiting for my scrubbalo ass. so in closing, anyone who is shit talking the jugglas and who we choose to be, well...doesn't that just make YOU a big judgemental christian piece of shit? leave us alone or come hang out with us, give us a dap. otherwise STOP BEING SUCH LITTLE RICHIE-NANNY POOF BALLS, and while you're bitching about people and thier tastes, just remember you are alienating people who would GLADLY welcome you into our circle.

Ya know, I'm going to say one more thing...I'm not a Juggalette or anything. I went to Hallowicked in Detroit with my friend Dave. I went without telling him that I had a fear of clowns because I just wanted to go hang out with him and thought that, if there was a time to overcome that fear, it'd be there. I was nervous but when I got in that line, waiting for the doors to open, everything was chill. There I was, in my pink and looking completely out of place, but I was accepted. Inside, after the first couple acts (and realizing that I really was having a very good time), I even roamed around by myself....in the middle of the clowns. I felt safe and welcomed. When I hang out with Dave, he's constantly stopped and talked to by other Juggalos who might remember him from a Gathering or who just wants to give him props on his wear and stuff. Dave is an absolutely awesome person too....one of the few people I let in during 2004...because I threw up a lot of walls. He's probably one of my best friends.
This is coming from someone who, before all of this, used to think it was crazy. You can ask Ryan (Merc) because he's known me longer than anyone on this board and when he used to listen to it around me, I'd roll my eyes...this was back in the day. Now I even appreciate the music for what it is...and like ABK...and I wouldn't have FILTHEE Immigrants if it weren't for Hallowicked. F.I. isn't on that label but they were the openers. I just love them.
Anyway...that's my two cents...as a non-Juggalette but an appreciator.

You know, there's just something not goth about ICP. Maybe it's the fact that they're a rap group. But that's my opinion on the band. I have very little opinion on the fans, but if mercurygriffin is a typical example, I certainly don't consider him a bad guy.
But I don't like rap. It's more tolerable than country, I suppose, but it's not something I want to hear, and it's not goth.
Anyway, on to the real point of my posting in this thread. Some of the comments in this thread have gone a bit past what we allow on here. I'm in no mood to edit anything, but I'm also not in the mood for namecalling and threats of "beat downs".
So, let's keep it polite, or we'll have to lock the thread.
Thanks!

I didn't say that we have overcomed all natural chaos...But...In example of our high-technology, engineering advancements...We have found santity in our lives...A little sense of security...I'm not saying we're safe...I said we have nothing left to fear...Look at the state of The U.S....We are in a state of fear...& that fear is of...MASS-MURDER....Tell me...When was the last time you lived in fear of an earthquake, tsunami, tornado, or hurricane...Now tell me how you felt on September 11th 2001?????????????

You know, I've been reading this with some kind of dumbfounded interest.
I just don't get it. It's a Band, right? A BAND. People are talking about family, and brotherhood, and even "throwing down" and kicking people's asses over a BAND?
Somehow I don't know if I should be amused or concerned. I don't listen to any singer/band that needs to be so strongly defended, to the point of violent comments and name calling.
How pathetic. Really.
It's a band. I've been to one of their concerts in Charlotte. It wasn't a life changing experience. I certainly wouldn't threaten anyone who did/didn't like them. Of all of the strange and childish threads I've read on KG, this one takes the cake.

Actually, the "controversy" isn't over the band itself.
I think it's great that people have enough brain to distinguish what the they like, and don't like. Great.
The problem is, when someone says they like a band or whatever, and they get called names and for what music they get into. I believe that is the problem here.
What is pathetic to me....is being judged, when people don't even know the first thing about you....and, even if you've known someone your whole life, you still have no right to judge them. Of course....this is my opinion....and it's because I am a loving, generous person....not the hate-mongering violent person that most of us juggalos get made out to be. sigh.
I have yet to hear anyone get seriously violent on this thread.
People have gotten upset, I will give you that. But, who wouldn't get upset when over and over, the people in a scene that is supposed to be one of the most understanding of diversity, are calling you ignorant, and slamming alot of your beliefs and what you hold dear to you?????
And, the violent remarks that I'm assuming are being referred to....were just figures of speech.

Not A band but several.
I have come to the opinion that they can dissagree with how we look/ act, what we listen to, and what we feel but that doesn't make us any less than we are. This is a call to all family. Drop it. We can do more to bridge the gap if we just prove what we mean with our actions. I know this sounds all christ like and shit but turn the other cheek. If they want to understand they will find out. If they miss the point, leave it be. Not everyone gets their jollies the same way and I know that well. Remember that we are the ones who are being missundrstood in this case so make the communication more clear. This is all because of bad press. Anyway, back to the point. We know who we are and that is all that really matters.

So, I have to ask:
If you don't "like goth", why are you on this forum?
Please don't take that as an attack - it's a serious question as to your motivation to bother with a forum named KnoxGothic.com.

I see what you're saying. The violent remarks I was referring to were "I would hate to start handing out F U's and beat downs over some shit like this" and "doesn't that just make YOU a big judgemental christian piece of shit? " and the like. I hear a violent tone, and it feels very antagonistic, all over a band, or the fans of a band. I'm not saying don't like ICP or listen to their music, but I don't understand people getting so worked up over what their personal musical tastes are. It IS music... whether or not it starts a crazy mass cult following, it is just musical expression. Simple. Now, if the members of said band were also members of this board, and people said they were ignorant for writing/expressing their art, fine, I think they would have a right to defend themselves. But how does someone feel personally attacked if someone else says the music they listen to is stupid? Hell, I listen to Broadway show tunes constantly... if you don't like it, it won't cause a ripple in my world, you know?
And I really don't see this scene as being one of the most accepting of diversity. I mean really, "goths" tend to be an exclusive group. I have seen many people made fun of on this board for listening to country, or Brittany Spears, or liking the Safety Dance for God's sake. This isn't "WelcomeAll.com" ... it's Knox "Gothic." We are exclusive, so to speak.
I have no real idea or understanding of this "Juggalo" term. However, I see people talking about some weird accepting family who aren't hate-mongering kids, and then someone else will jump on and threaten to beat people down. I don't get it. No one is obligated to respect or enjoy or understand the music I do. Why even care? It just seems laughable to me.

First offf... I don't really care for ICP one way or the other. Some of their stuff is pretty funny. Some of it is exceedingly lame. But that's personal opinion.
I think the whole view of ICP fans being a cult stems from the fact that the majority of their vocal fans are fanatics. This is where I have a problem. I dislike fanatics. Saying that a type of music, or all of the bands from a particular label are your life, and that you'll be "down with" them forever is, in my opinion, stupid. Tastes change. I very seriously doubt that in twenty years there will be legions of 30-somethings in clown make-up running around proclaiming that they are juggalos and juggalettes. Most likely they'll be embarrassed that they ever did such a thing.
But back to my point - fanatics = bad. Look at what religious fanatiscm has done to the world. Fanatics are people who cease thinking for themselves, and only believe what they are told by thier object of worship. That's just stupid, and that's my problem with the ICP extremists. And lets face it - groups get judged by their most vocal, and most extreme, followers.
