how my screen name came to be is simple. i often get the compliment
"you are just too cute!" i also get the comment that im on drugs (which is not true) or that im completely whacked. the little part iseasy to figure out im only 5'2 and the 20 well thats obious enough, its how old i am currently. thus the story of how this cutelittlepsycho came to be.

Liriel is actually the first name of a woman who used to run the VRI, Vampire Research Institute, formerly
here (though it's been closed since Oct. 2002), who now does an interesting comic called Bad Blood,
here. Her full name is Liriel McMahon. I don't know her personally but I liked her first name so much I adopted it as a screen name many years ago.

Well lets see... Cairistiona is the feminine Gaelic of Christian which is me odd as it may seem in the goth community.
I am Scottish by decent so that makes Gaelic my family's native tongue though none of us here in the states actually speak it.
Cairistiona Symon is my SCA name where I am a mid 1100's Scottish woman of the clan Frasier and the daughter of a sailor and carpenter which is true in the real world as well. I have many names on line almost all of which have to do with old nicknames from the far away land of high school. Yet one or more of them was taken when i joined here a few months ago. Oh well though one that was taken was for a completely different reason as the other lady bearing the name. Mine was from the land of high school and way too much anime.
Now that I have completely confused everyone I will once again disappear into the evil realm of term papers and the attempt to graduate collage with a useful degree

Ok, here's how I got my screen name:
First off, I am a big fan of the dark electronic/synth duo Red Flag (whose singer is now sadly deceased) ... "Synthpopalooza" is a song off of their 2000 album "The Eagle and Child" (a good album by the way!) ... and when I started my online radio station in 2001 I took that nickname because it seemed to make sense for my station.

The origins of the spookwhore?
In high school, there where all these little girls that wanted my nuts, & no that's not an ego trip, it sucked. At the time sic_fuck & I thought it was funny, so we started calling them spookwhores. This said, that must make me The Spookwhore, because I love me more than anyone else ever could. I think that for anyone to love you, you must love yourself more. So anyway a couple of years later I just started going by spookwhore. Sadly enough, that's what I will always be.
Side note: I never slept with any of the little spookwhores.

You know from that story alone, now all I see is the goth strippers from Marilyn manson's Tainted Love video.

Yeah...... There's not much much to say about Snap
Dragon. He He !
I chose my name simply in honor of my
favorite flower, the snap dragon. Ever since I was little
I had always loved them. I would touch them in
just the right place and they'd snap at me with their
petals. It was a childish joy for me. Now that I am
older whenever I look at them I tend to get caught in nostalgia's web. I am reminded of my teachers, my
friends, and especially my FAMILY.
I guess... since my Papaw passed away this summer I
have found a new appreciation for this particular flower.
Whenever I look at them they remind me of him.
