• Ice Skating anyone???

I have a week off before I go back to atlanta - so if anyone would like to go Ice Skating with me then let me know. The IceSkating rink off of Watt Road is what has the day skating. It's not expensive at all and the rink is a lot larger than the one on Kingston Pike. The Kingston Pike rink is not open for summer open skate just open for lessons and such. If anyone is intrested then I will post times for skating and how to get to the rink. Afternoon time is great for me anyday this week. With it being hot it would be a great way to cool off. BearDragonLady and I had a blast in the past going IceSkating. Anyone is welcomed to come.

Ok correction! - the Kingston Pike Ice Chalet is open for summer skating (free skate) it is 5.00 to skate 3.00 to rent if you do not have your own skates. Here below is the times for free skate.

Monday 12:00noon to 3:30pm or 8:00pm to 10:00pm

Tuesday 12:00noon to 3:30pm

Wednesday 12:00noon to 5:30pm or 8:00pm to 10:00pm

Thursday 12:00noon to 3;30pm or 8:00pm to 10:00pm

Friday 12:00noon to 3:30pm or 7:30pm to 10:00pm

Saturday 7:30pm to 10:00pm

No Skate on sundays!

It looks now that I can be available for skating on Monday night, Wednesday day/night or Friday day

I'd love to. I have my own skates, but I have school and work Monday through Wednesday. Then, Thursday I will be going to Nashville for the Violent Femmes. I'm not sure as to how I'm getting there, or if I'm staying the night. If I'm not staying the night, I'll be able to go during the day on Friday.

It's dangerous enough putting blades in my hands... but on my feet? No. Somebody would lose an eye, or the head it's attached to. I would love to watch, however. :mrgreen:

Ok it looks like friday is also good for me too. They are open on Friday - Public Skate is from 12:00 noon to 3:30pm is good for me. They also have a night skate 7:30 to 10:30pm but I will be unable to attend that one.

Yeah, Friday night is out because of 80's night.
I'm game for noon (assuming I don't oversleep).
It'll be hard since we'll be driving back from Nashville overnight, but I will be there regardless. Now, if only I could find my skates.
