I'm in love with ReadyMade magazine. It is the coolest thing ever. It has directions on making all sorts of hip modern thingies...usually created by hipster designers. Each of the instructions gives you the estimated cost and skill required. The newest issue gives instructions on building a coffin out of Ikea furniture!!! Check it out, it is a quarterly mag and they sell it at BAM, Borders, etc.
