Is Skareoke still on for the 20th? As usual, money is tight, so we gotta pick one or the other....

How about no techno mixes of decent 80's songs, I think it tends to ruin the song a bit

is the mac i saw yours or the other guys.. (bone >?)
ask him if he has an extension for usb onboard.. if he does it will simply be a new hdd icon to suck mp3's off of - simple really
or can you handle a cd with mp3's burnt on it as well ?
thanks !

I would like to hear:
I Love Rock n' Roll by Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
One Way or Another by Blondie
Lust for Life by Iggie and the Stooges
and
Darlin' Nikki by Prince
Also, I am not 100% sure Smooth Criminal by MJ was the 80's, but if somebody wants to hear it, go for it.
I am partial to bad 80's hair metal, but i won't torture the rest of the crowd by requesting any.

Mac is mine but it is not hooked to the sound system. I use it for CD data base as I only bring Burned CDs to DJ due to a HIGH loss of some irreplaceable stuff over the last 13 years. I can read a drive USB or firewire , can read mp3 burned discs to the computer but DJ players don't play MP3s. i-book does have a CD burner so I can make a quick CD if you get there early. if you have a lot of stuff it would probably be the next 80s night before we get round to playing much of it though.
One of these days I am going to get a MP3 DJ program up and running on the i-book but I just havn't found one I like the interface with yet (at least in a price range I can afford...lol).
