Yep! I'm a member of the GothCon Inquisition on LiveJournal...the LJ board is the best way to keep up with the latest news...

There is the threat of GothCon actually going through this year, but as you can see at the official GC website, they've not updated the bands or the guest listings...and they really don't have all that long to get things moving. The GCI are still trying to get proof that this supposed non-profit, AIDS charity event has actually been donating proceeds to the charities they claim that they did....but the charities never recieved anything from GothCon or Seraphim Productions, and the GothCon representatives dance around the issue rather than offer substantial proof on where the money went.

The GCI is about informing the potential attendees, performers, and dealers about the shady organization that they're dealing with. We just want you guys to know what's what, and then let you make up your own minds about attending.
