"I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates who said, 'I drink what?'"

"If God could do the things that I could do he'd be a happy man."

"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed-interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three piece suit on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarassment to the selfish, fucked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life. But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got heroin?"

One of our founding fathers said one that's always worked well for me, "I may not agree with what you say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it."

Then there's my signature (see below) which is in the first paragraph of the Aeneid. Roughly translated, it means "Such anger from one so divine" or "Such fury from the gods."

But my all time favorite has always been, "Simplify, simplify, simplify!"

Vae Victis!
As recorded by the Romans, since the Celts did not make written records, when Bran, called Brennius by the Romans, conquered Rome in 390 BC, he spared the survivors in exchange for a ransom, a percentage of their total treasury to be measured on a great set of scales he placed in the center of the city. One senator came out to protest that he was not weighing his gold fairly. Bran's response was to draw his sword and point it at the senator, who immediately fell to his knees in fear. Bran then tossed his sword on the weighted side of the scale, making the measure even more unfair, and uttered simply, "Vae victis!" This can be translated one of two ways: "Woe unto the vanquished!" or "Fuck the survivors!" I wish Bran could be in Baghdad with Stage right now.
