THE DOOM GENERATION

This was probably on the forum before the crash or had already been over done before it came into existance, either way since there are so many new peeps on I'm bringing it up again.

Generation X at its best. See the plight of our three heros, Xesavier Red, Johnny White and the star, Amy Blue as they flee (all the way across several California counties) from the police (who are chasing them for blowing the films director's head off) and several others groups. Try and figure out why everything costs $6.66, Why dose everyone know Amy? See X get beaten to a pulb by Skinny Puppy. See if you can count all the cameo's (including the 8 frame apearance by Amanda Bearse.).

Try your best to get the uncut version (ie dont get it from Blockbuster or Holywood), try to be in a trippy sort of state of mind.

thisis the movie that got Rose Mcgowan started (yeah this will aswer the question WHY?!?!?)

And my final discription its Natural Born Killers meets Repo Man.

Doooooooooom

I haven't liked any Gregg Araki film since "The Living End." However, he always stocks his films with hot, hot boys, so he gets a free pass.

I haven't really seen a Gregg Araki film that I *didn't* like.

:)

Although, I have to admit that Totally Fucked Up is a little hard to sit through.

Anyone know if he's had anything come out lately? (The last movie I saw from him was Splendor)

And, he always does seem to find the hottest hot boys, doesn't he? ;)

Junkie...

If interested, I have a copy of Totally Fucked Up, and I think I recorded Nowhere on a vhs somewhere....if not, I know they have it at the blockbuster here.

I thought Rose got her start in Heathers? A good place to look for it is Best Buy of all places. Its usually the widescreen directors cut. Since they all carry the same thing, worth a shot (usually carry the same thing, your mileage may vary!)
