Here is a rough prototype sketch of the main antagonist in my upcoming webcomic, soon to debut on the private forum which may not be named.com, both on the main site, and in the forum. Other character previews are forthcoming.

Nice Picture. Seems a little effort intensive for a web comic though.

Thanks. I don't believe in half-assing it, even if it is just a webcomic. Anyway, the webcomic is just a primer for the real comics...

Here's Rhiannon, another character for the comic. I haven't built her costume yet, otherwise I'd have made a full-body image to show off her curves.

Thanks for the compliment. Yes, these characters are vampyres. I tend to work first on the villains in my stories. Yes, I am writing my own story. The whole project is all me. I work mostly in 3DStudio Max, Poser4(ProPack), and Adobe Photoshop. I have recently come across a new program called Zbrush, which I hope will allow me take my 3D modelling to new levels, as it makes the process feel more intuitive, like sculpting, than scientific, like engineering. These images posted here are more like sketches, and the images that will appear in the comics will be far more worked-up, with lots more custom painting and modelling. Comic will be still be all grayscale, though.

Heh... art trolls. One more time: The the private forum which may not be named forum is invitation-only. I won't speak for other members, but if I didn't invite you, it's because I 1)don't know you, 2)don't like you, or 3)don't think you would care. In your specific case, I'm fairly sure I don't know you.
As for why you didn't get a response before now, it is because I rarely check in on this forum anymore, because there is little-to-nothing of interest here for me, except for art, and I can see there is little interest here in that, of other members. Heh, I remember when people were bitching that they wanted this art forum, and Vader reluctantly obliged, believing correctly that it would be mostly unused. But since you have mentioned nothing in relation to my comix, I assume you were mainly interested in confronting me about the private forum which may not be named, no?
Finally, as always has been the case, the the private forum which may not be named forum can be viewed by anyone, though only members can post. Besides that, if you re-read the post at the top of this thread, you will see that I stated this comic will be viewable on both the forum, and on the main site, the private forum which may not be named.com. All there is of that right now is a link to the forum, as we have chosen to wait until we move to our own server to implement the heavy content.

Thank you for the kind words, all. Again, these are just character sketches and aren't meant to be construed as something I would call art. I wanted to see if objective viewers would think these characters looked as cool as I think they do. They will be tweaked a bit, and then they will be used in my comix, which I will endeavor to create at such a level of merit that I may call them art. And yes, they will be viewable by anyone with a monitor and a modem. So, as I do not know any of you, may I ask what kind of art you are all into?
