I just had to share.
So, I'm getting my dance on at the last Sanctus, having a blast (thank you all) when this rather good looking young man aproaches me. He tells me he likes the way I dance. I smile and tell him thank you very much. (What lady doesn't appreciate compliments) He then asks if I'm here with anyone. I reply that no I'm not but I am happily married and my hubby's at home asleep. He had to work the next day.
He then pulls out the pity card. "I'm just not having any luck here tonight. I guess it's cause I'm different..."
(He wasn't caucasian can be my only guess?) Those of you who've met my hubby can laugh with me.
I replied that this would be the one place where you can be different and it wouldn't matter and then moved on. I couldn't come up with anything more witty than that.
Still shaking my head a week later.

Well ya know, we can't have any weirdos at Sanctus...

it would have been really great if he would have a had a card in his wallet to pull out with the words "pity card" on it...

Or a "Get into your pants FREE" card.

Those sold like hotcakes back in the day.

LOL... that same guy came up 2 me & asked me if I waz there alone... told him "No, I'm with my husband"... Then, he quickly scampered away... Personally, that approach wouldn't work if I waz single... (& hell, I am a swinger)

Exactly! It truly was a stupid approach in the first place, but the thing that cracks me up is that he didn't realize he was rejected for being stupid. He thought that this group of people, myself included were excluding him for racist bias!

Ya, I kno... 1 of my more recent playmate nterestz iz Puerto Rican & I'v spanned many other culturez without hesitation... I do, however, find assumed racism & bias a MAJOR turn-off & all 2 common an occurance. So, I'm white (reeaallly white by natural skin tone) & American... southern even (Gawd 4bid)... BIG freakin' deal! I'll look u dead n the eyez, & the only colorz that matter 2 me r thoze emanating from ur being (i.e., aura).

i think the same guy approached me, he didn't ask if i was there with anyone(prolly cause i was sitting with my roomie's boyfriend, and had just gotten up to find her, and the bar), but he did tell me that he REALLY liked my outfit. no wait, i take that back. he told my breasts that he liked my outfit . of course you do, i'm wearing very low riding pants, stripper shoes, devil horns, and a corset so tight that my breasts are almost at my neck and struggling for air , what guy doesn't like my outfit?

I think it's cool to talk to women's breasts. But when one does, it's always a good idea to address both of them individually. Singling just one out isn't going to make the other feel very special, after all.

you know, if a guy actually did that, i don't think it would bother as much. just because it would have been THAT fucking original. i would really enjoy it though, if he could actually guess my names for them. that would top the cake, and would never bitch about tit staring again
