I have purchased a monster. The MAC G5 w/Dual Processors. I love this damned thing. I have slept with it. Made music with it. Used less than 9% of its hard drive copying around 3000 songs. I recomend this machine. I like it! I am obsessed with it.
Thank you Dark Vader for selling us this wonderful machine!!
All must have one of these comps! Purchase no more crap. Save your money. I promise you ...it is worth it!
(Gladly will accept any checks from Mac)

apple says:
The Power Mac G5, with a suggested retail price of $2,999 (US), includes:
Dual 2.0 GHz 64-bit PowerPC G5 processors;
Dual Independent 1 GHz front-side buses;
512MB 400 MHz 128-bit DDR memory;
8 DIMMs, 8GB maximum memory;
160GB Serial ATA hard drive;
AGP 8X Pro graphics slot;
RADEON 9600 Pro-64MB DDR graphics card;
3 PCI-X slots (one 64-bit 133 MHz, two 64-bit 100 MHz); and
4x SuperDrive.
ie, the G5 can't snuff at 18gb memory, because the maximum in can hold is 8gb ;p
as far as storage/dd space goes... it only has 2 HD bays.. which we have 2 145gb U320 SCSI drives in, mirrored... pretty much just for the OS (yes, yes, 145gb for an OS partition is kinda silly.. *shrug*)
for the MAIN storage... I think we're looking at somewhere around 270gb? The SAN has 11 32gb drives, raid 5.. not sure if we're using a hot spare or not.. so without doing to much math I think it's in the neighborhood of 270-300 :p
we are kinda comparing apples and oranges here though :p
