Do you hate your family? Does all of your family live far away? Then consider this: Thanxgiving at LadyIvanna & Doc's house. We will be hosting the 2nd annual Thanxgiving party...no, this is NOT a midget friendly party!!!! I do not serve traditional food....everything that I make comes from 15th century recipes. There is one catch this year, though.....we have had a TERRIBLE year when it comes to finances...anyone that knows us can verify this. We simply ask that if you come and eat the food, that you chip in $3-5 to help. Alot of the ingredients for the 15th century recipes are quite expesive. We will gladly provide everything except alcohol....you must bring your own alcohol. If you would like directions to our home or need more info, just PM me or email me at :
LadyIvanna@techmerc.net
I MUST have RSVP's on this!!!!

Desserts:
Desserts:
Almond custard tart with caramelized cinnamon apples
Apple date walnut cake (more like a quick bread i.e. banana nut bread)
Hippocras, as a sauce/topping for above cake
(a custard of eggs, honey, almonds, cream cheese)
(I'll be adding pears and champagne to this)
(very much like a sabayon)
Apple date tarte tatin
Extra:
Some ale and double gloucester brioche
(because more good bread is always good)

That's really cool of you & Doc to open up your home like that. And what a feast! I know you all will truly be thankful for such bounty.
This is our first Thanksgiving without Dad, so we're going to spend it with my biological mother & grandmother. It's also the 12th anniversary of my biological father's suicide. Even more reason to stay close to home with Tom & the kids.
Hope eveyone has a good holiday this year. Spend it with the people who mean the most to you.

I think I gained five pounds just reading the menu.
Now I know how you stay so thin. You are a THINNESS VAMPIRE!
Sucking the thinness out of your unsuspecting prey with cunningly crafted culinary delights.

This is the last chance for RSVP's....I'm going grocery shopping. Also, let me point out.....THIS IS NOT A PLAY PARTY!!! This is just a time for friends to get together, eat unusual type food and have fun! Keep your floggers and riding crops at home!!!!
