What a surprise. You'd almost think the 2nd one sucked

But then, opinions are like , we've all got one yeah? I say to hell with bad reviews, enjoy what you like. Hell, I liked Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins, and you don't get much worse than that.

Okay Ill wait a week or so until I do my rambling incoherent poorly writen ramble I call a review.

Ill agree with Ebert and Roper a thumbs up but not impressed.

The crowd reaction seemed to be if your not really into the matrix it was a pretty good movie. If you were really into it you might have a problem or two.

Great battle scenes (they even have a anime style guys floating around hitting each other really hard type battle, finally)

i love the first two and i loved this one
i think people just set their expectations too high

Bullshit, Remo Williams rocked, its shit like Repo Man that I couldnt stomach...

As time has gone by it has grown more and more on me (the initial shock of certain events wear off) Im hopefully going to see it again real soon then Ill do my ramble (oh Im sure you can hardly wait )

No Shit? Remo is ripe for a remake, and with "Bob" knows how many novels in the Destroyer series, it definately has sequel potential. It was a real popcorn movie that dealt very well with the limitations of the times. And, even though they cast a caucasion in an asian role with "rots" of makeup and stereotypical engrish speech(blame the author - He speaks that way in the books too), I loved the cast.

Maybe that is my problem with Matrix II. Too much spectacle and not enough heart. I just didn't care about the characters while watching the second film. I did in the first, so what was different about them? I will see Revolutions eventually, but I'm going to wait for DVD.

I was very disappointed by the second one - it was almost as if they made it up as they went along. They should have stopped at the first one, and then it would be _the_ Sci-Fi movie of all time (Ok, put Star Wars in there somewhere too).

Well, I can finally say what I have firmly believed since leaving the theatre after the 2nd Matrix: Shit keeps rolling. As bad as the second movie was, it just kept getting worse in part III.

As a stand alone movie, the first Matrix managed to be heavy on eye candy while posing thought provoking questions and giving us characters we could invest an interest in. Part II just decided to stick with the eye candy. Part III went that route too, but by this time you had seen everything and the CG was just so much boring crap. Oh, it's a chase. Uh oh, the squids are on the move. Wow, ANOTHER showdown between Smith and Missssterr Anderson. All of those questions about what's real and what matters? Gone, only to be replaced by a cliche (It's Love dude! That's all that matters!). By trying to explain all of the Matrix like parts of a videogame, that's all they were left with: A great big boring videogame. And we all know that videogames based on movies are the worst ones of all. Rebuttal?

Well its all part of the shoe-in for the MMORPG The Matrix Online... of course. Capitalism strikes again.

I finally got around to seeing Revolutions on Easter. Very appropriate, I think. I don't think it was a bad movie. Don't mistake me for a die-hard Matrix fan. The only reason I went to see the first one was because someone bought my ticket. Good thought-provoking stuff. Reloaded was a bit tedious with the philosophy but I hoped it was leading up to something. As it turned out, it didn't really lead up to much of anything in Revolutions. Even so, Revolutions was an enjoyable movie. The amount of technical eye-candy was astonishing and so overwhelming that it's frequently hard to absorb everything that is happening.

Some day I will get around to buying all of the Matrix movies on DVD. Just not anytime soon.
