I have been up approximately 30hrs so take that into consideration while reading this please.

It's been my experiance that most bands have a common problem. Practice Space. I was just thinking wouldn't it be great if someone say had a place that you could rent out practice space for your band in alloted blocks? If enough people would do it to cover the rent and utilities it would be worth it just to have a definite complaint free space to play in. Also with something like this it may encourage the typical procrastinating musician to practice. just a thought.

i know people in bristol that used to actually do something like that. 3 bands split the bills and rented an old fucked up house to play in.
it does work..
id love to get in on that...

I was thinking more of a buisness type establishment as opposed to a house. Although im clueless as to what the laws would be reguarding noise levels. A building with say four rooms. roughly 15'X20' soundproof the hell out of them. A storeage room incase people want to leave their equipment there. Eventually build in a small recording studio. If we could find a way to do this cheaply (yeah right) we could really help out some local bands. Im going to look into rental space and the such after the first of the year. If there is enought interest and it seems feesable I want to get this thing rolling. Any ideas or comments Junkie? anyone?
