Any word on if Kevin will be KJing on Thursday the 15th at The Giant Panda? I really hope so. It's been 9 weeks since the last one. If this one is cancelled at the last minute, it will suck - again. See all you unashamed singers there.

Well, I just got off the phone with Kevin to check on tomorrow's status at the Panda and it's a no go. He told me with the last update that tomorrow night was a go, but it turns out that the owner and him are still in wages negotiation. He stated that he won't update again until he knows things are set in stone. In the meantime, he does have a karaoke gig in Oak Ridge on Wednesday nights from 8pm to midnight at a place called Backroad Pub & Grill which is on Warehouse Rd. He just started last week and he told me the turn out was light so one can sing quite a few times. If a group showed up, they would dominate the show, *hint hint*. I'm thinking about going and I've been trying to call Dustin the last half hour to see if he wants to go but his line has been busy.

Thursday for me, I had planned to do a 3 stop karaoke spree, Bullfeather's at 8pm, Panda at 10:30pm, and then Macleod's at 1am, but I guess it's going to be just two now. Yes, I'm insane!

You know, it's getting to the point where I don't want to support The Giant Panda with my beer and fried rice money. If they are jerking Kevin around, they can't have much sense. If they have an issue with the crowd he draws in (us) then screw them, they don't deserve our patronage. If anyone has alternative plans for Thursday, post up please. Friday is Blackest Coffee Hour (see the existing thread.) I can wait a day for fun under the moon.

i was outta town last night so i couldnt have gone to the oak ridge thing anyway but i say we go on a rai.......i mean ummm a jump to lightspeed over to oak ridge and see about this place next week
