Kitten needs a home

On her way home from work, my friend Kandice found a kitten on the side of the road. It was obviously hurt, and while she and another person had pulled over to see what they could do for it, the Greenville Animal Shelter employees pulled up. They determined it had been hit by a car, so they took it and have been treating it. They claim it is doing really well now and are about to put it up for adoption. I'm not sure if it is male or female, but it is black and small enough to hold in one hand from what I understand. If anyone is interested in providing a good home for the kitten, I will find out more information. Feel free to PM me and let me know.

Poor thing. I'd love to take him in, but then where do you stop? After I brought the 2nd kitty home, my brother already accused me of turning into the "cranky old cat man."
Honestly though, I could not afford to bring in another cat. Asuka's expenses have jumped over 200.00 dollars since bringing her home and that is just in adoption fees and vet bills. That's the price you pay for love I guess
Anyone who has just one cat though, please consider this! If you can afford the initial investment, the entertainment provided by their play is more than worth it, and they can keep each other company while you are away!

Although I love him to death, Shadow is an overgrown kitten that doesn't know how to slow down sometimes; I'm afraid a little one wouldn't be a good idea for me at this time.

I can't. I'm alergic to cat litter, but I love kitties. Fallen? Scorptrio?

Aww, I would love to take it but I already have to fat ass cats at home that like to beat each other up (in a loving sort of way) I would be afraid they would sit on the poor lil thing a smush it.
But cat's are a good investment, I think anyways...they can be very loyal...dispite popular belief.

Mr Kitty would eat this other.....outsider......
but perhaps having another cat around would make Mr Kitty run around and be more active instead of just sitting on his ass and getting fat.

Hah! That is what I worried about too. I still get occasional looks from my first cat as if he's thinking "What the fuck were you thinking dickcheese? We had a good thing going here!" But the 2 really are getting along swell now, and the kitten does not stay a kitten very long...She's already nearly half Azrael's size. He's also trimming up a bit. Now that may be because they play together or because Asuka is an Eating Machine...Anyway, 2 are definately more fun than 1.

The description sounds like my baby.
He was thrown out of a speeding car or hit as a kitten, had to have his jaw reconstructed a bit.
From it all, he came out of things blind and death (mostly). After 9 years he's still roaming around, stealing my food, and going for blood on most anyone who tries to pick him up.
I'd never had a cat quite as affectionate as he is (though he made a tradition of being charmingly cute so my g/f's would pick him up and then shred them, up until recently)
I think a few of you have met my baby at a few of the NG picnics. Now if I could just figure out how a blind cat can get to the top of an empty closet...

I'm the up until recently that white_darkness mentioned...His Simon loves me...and always cuddles with me when I sleep there..I'd love to get a kitten, but my Bob would prolly eat it. although when Loki had kittens one of them took to following Bob around everywhere he went it was so cute. Bob would lay in the floor and let the kittens tug on his ears and tail.

Yeah, Jason. Really. *harumph*
Miles and Lucy NEED someone to entertain them.
Good luck Krista. Hope it's not a girl.

Ha ha, you KNOW that we already have more cats than we can afford to spay. Unless, of course, you'll give us Priapus...
Oh, no! He's not going anywhere! He's Tom'e familiar, afterall!

Hmm, that begs the question of why he gets all puffed up and shows off whenever Cam is around...
