Well everyone, I moved to Jacksonville, FL about 3 months or so ago and I have to say...it is great. I finally got a chance to break free from my schedule to check out a local goth night. I was very impressed I have to say:)
The night is weekly and is about 5 minutes outside of the city proper. It is called "Factory" and is about the size of my old hang-out in New York...small but very well kept. The music was the standard goth night music but with a very fun surprises of old school industrial, goth and new wave. Drink specials ranged from dollar drafts to 2 dollar mixed drinks.
I would highly recommend this night to anyone that may visit this area:)
The website can be found on the "International Goth Club Listing" via the www.

Hope everyone is staying warmer in Tennessee and glad to see Sanctus still booming:)

Hit the Pink Flamingo there. It's a killer club! One of the best in the state!

Ewwwww, I used to live in Jacksonville. Baaaaaaaaad experience. Hope everything goes well for you there. Stay away from any guy named Ray. Seriously.

Stay away from a loud drunk named Mike (my brother). He's another Jacksonville resident to avoid.

Hope you enjoy the rest of what the city has to offer, though. Don't be a stranger! Come visit for Sanctus from time to time! :D

Seems I have quite the list of people to avoid! Ray, Mother Mo's brother and well (trying not to laugh) let's just say there is a long list. I really like it here so far. I am also finally getting some play time on stage. I am doing lead vocals for a band here and it is going very well. How knows, maybe I will be in Knoxville touring someday.
The music is more "alternative" but I haven't forgotten my gothic backround...I am incorporating alot of the sound into the music.

Hope everyone is doing well...
