Nah,You're still young. Nick At Nite has been doing the 80's thing for a while. Now if you remember when My Three Sons originally aired or Dobie Gillis (Sp?) then I would say you were old. As of right now....Nick at Night is just messing with people's minds that remembered when they only played really old stuff. Now they tend to only show that stuff on TVLand. :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

....and one more thing...at least its not Golden Girls or Alf.

yea i agree with tom on this. and the keep changing the damn channel cheers comes on... cheers being on classic TV makes me feel dead... i wish they would rerun alf....
my personal fav is people that are into video games and look at me like i am a zombie when i talk about an atari 2600, commadore64, and the orginial nintendo. high school kids looking at me funny when i explain why frogger is one of my alltime favorite games...
oh yea and then there is the i dont even know what people consider cool music anymore and every new band in every genre i hear makes me vomit......
im at the point when age of flesh doesnt matter to me, my soul is ancient and wants retirement.

you young pups, I remember when Led Zeppelin was still together, the days before punk, cable TV, Star Wars, and VHS (We had a Betamax heh). As for cartoons, well the Groovie Ghoulies were my thing so HA!

Well we were talking at 11th Strret, and I was making Nick at Nite jokes. Yes Atari was bad ass I had one when I was a little girl, and I remember, and loved, ALF.

I hate to admit it, but Mr. Rogers always scared me, not the show, cause I loved the land of make believe, just the man

I grew up on Beverly Hillbilly reruns, F Troop, & cartoons like the Rocky & Bullwinkle Show or Thundar the Barbarian. Muppet Show was what we had on during dinner time. I loved the old hecklers in the balcony! What were their names?

dude, i still have my betamax! its at my parent's house, as well as some tapes of old cartoons to watch on it. as a matter o fact, i
think thats where my ghostbusters videos are, sorry junkie.

i wish they had a entire channel devoted to 80s tv shows. i would never leave the house. i wish they would rerun he man/ she ra, it was rumored to happen, i even signed online petitions for odessy or cartoon network to air them, then the new he man came out, so disappointing. i kinda feel like my childhood had been raped, .....in the butt,...............with no lube,.........wrapped in sandpaper. especially after they rereleased strawberry shortcake and carebears, and now...................rainbow brite. yup, i saw rainbow, twink, and all the color kids at walmart. sad.

mr rogers didn't creep me out, he just got on my nerves. always changing his sweater or shoes, new pair of shoes just to play with a different fucking puppet, what a fucktard. i watched bob ross instead, and i still love bob ross. i could watch happy little tree painting for days.

i loved the muppets, but fraggle rock was cooler! arse knows all about that. she's been down on fraggle rock ;) .............i mean down AT fraggle rock

Ok, well I felt old when :

* I heard "Enjoy the Silence" and then "Friday I'm in Love" in between 50's songs at Sonic one day.
* They re-released "My Little Ponies" , now in tranparent plastic. (Reminding me horribly of the gross horse part of "The Cell" movie).
* I got blank looks when talking about 321 Contact and She-Ra at school one day.

Mr. Rodgers was a bit creepy. Bob Ross was creepy, too. But the "Happy little trees" were ok. The random showcased kid artists were strange, as were the "little creatures" he would put in some paintings. He made me not want to take drugs.

I thiink I will quit thinking about this now,.... its far to easy to remember more examples of impending age.

Full House on Nick@Nite can't make you feel old! They show it on channel 7 and abc family all the time! I love that show....
I'm too young to feel old about anything .....I just wish they hadn't cancelled shows like Are You Afraid of the Dark and Ren and Stimpy on CARTOON NETWORK......There were lots and lots of little shows like this that I wouldn't mind they be brought back.....they make me feel good and I can remember stuff from my elementary and preschool years much better when I watch them. :old: *_*

Yes, I remember, when I was much younger, having to go through the video store and find the beta versions of the Shirley Temple movie. I was such a fan of those movies when I was a little girl.

The only cartoon I ever really remember adoring as a child was the one about the Green Men from the Land of Og.

As for the Atari, I was a frogger-a-holic. Although I have to admit, I think it was just the fact that I found it amusing to see him get squished by the cars; therefore, I didn't mind too much when I lost.
