Sunday is Snap Dragon's 14th birhtday, & we're having a gathering at Skate Town to celebrate. This might be a good opportunity for some of the younger crowd to get together & do some meetin', greetin', & socializin'.
The party is from 2:15 - 3, then we'll hang around & skate for a while after. I've paid for her guests admission, but if more kids come, it's $5 extra per person. Adults can skate for just $1. They sell pizza, drinks, & such there, plus we'll be bringing cake & ice cream.
So, if you like to skate, or socialize, or see what a gothic birthday party is like in a redneck skate rink in Halls, come on by!
There will also be elder goths sitting around imbibing lots of caffeine & keeping their feet firmly on the ground. If anyone is interested, send me a pm & I'll give you directions. Snap Dragon would appreciate your company.

The building is on Broadway, on the left as you drive from Fountain City into Halls. It shares a driveway with Atkins Garage & I think a little tattoo parlor or some such business. The building sits at the top of the hill, it's beige, & otherwise unremarkable. If you get to Halls, you went too far.
Sounds like we should have a good sized little crowd. Glad to hear it! If anyone needs a ride, post it & we can try to find someone to pick you up.

She said...."or see what a gothic birthday party is like in a redneck skate rink".....
That won't neccessarily be true unless people from KG come.....all of my friends are rather normal ......certain ones may be rather intimidated of a few of us, and others.....well they may just convert....
If you come please remind me to introduce some newbies on the board- The Black Butterfly. Her name is Cami and she'll be quite happy to meet most of you. My other friend Spring is known as the Dragon of Ice and she is also new to the board.

By the way...I have no clue how to skate . This party is simply a way for me to learn so
HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. Thanks....

Hope to SEE you there.

I love these little smilies!!!

I can teach you the ever popular "walking along the wall" which I am very good at, second only to "crawling to the wall". But on the plus side I will most likely be sporting some great black kneepads!!

I'll be there. I might even be able to convince Lorri to come with me. (Some of you have heard about her.) I love to skate and I'm pretty good at it. I should get some great "cape effects" flying around the rink in my coat.

Yes, they still have real skates. My nephew had his birthday party there last year. That's the only reason I know this.

LOL. You know you like to dust off those old 70's gold glittery hot pant-short things and go skating every weekend.

I might stop by...if I can convince myself to come back into Halls. I also have another skating date that evening through my work but it's from 6 - 8 that evening and at the Skatetown in Maryville. So, there's a good chance I could be busting my ass all day long....literally.

That won't be a problem. Just give me a call. I think you have my cell phone number. If not, I have yours and will call you Sunday.
