CSI: Crime Scene Investigation of vampires

Tonight's CSI: Crime Scene Investigation was interesting. Underground clubs, absinthe drinking, psy-vamps, blood drinking, orthodontic fangs, hereditary vampirism, soul-eating, vamp/donor relationships. Except for Marilyn Manson playing in the background of every club scene, I'd say they did their research. Isn't it nice when subculture is sensationalized to get ratings on a crime drama show?

Oh, I quite enjoyed it! I had to double check to make sure I hadn't flipped the channel & landed on back on Buffy, though.

The Marilyn Manson song got censored to "This is the new HIT." Networks! ;)

I also noticed while watching ER, that they have started censoring the breasts on the "patients" on the tables. They didn't do that before Ms. Jackson. The FCC has them running scared. It's the new subplot running through all the shows!

I'm glad I taped it, since I don't get home from work until 9:30-9:45...... I haven't watched it yet, so I didn't really read all your comments yet.

Yeah I liked it. It was funny when they went to the club scene and they were playing manson (I was sure someone would be complaining about that).

A lot of people tell me that I remind them of the chick investagtor, but I've only watched the show once.

I thought it was retarded...

I hope people don't get the idea that all of us think we are real vampires.

They were also playing "Bela Lugosi's Dead"...

Or start ramming stakes through the hearts of every Goff they encounter.

Though that might be cool to watch...

I thought the vampire actors were really weak... i liked how the club looked and i laughed my ass off at "Bella Lagosi's Dead" it took me back to Writhe and Shine....

I like CSI, i mean it's one of the few shows that i actually watch on tv... but they could have done better.. they did the sterotypical research not through enough to represent us properly... but we got prime time air time.... and it wasn't that bad either

I wonder how much of their research involved Katherine Ramisland's novel? It sounds like a lot of it from the first post on this thread.

Hasn't CSI been in repeats for a year now? or do they only have 4 new shows a season?

oh, good. i discovered that my DVR was full again and had not recorded CSI last night. at least it was one i had seen already.

for the record, the vampire episode was ok... i thought the Lady Heather episodes were better, tho... maybe they'll do a few more, but they seem to have moved Grissom's attentions towards Sara.

and no, CSI is not currently in reruns...

well i don't know how long grisom is going to be on the show they are making it to where he is losing his hearing so that might be why all the attention is going to Sara...

I'm fairly certain that was a re-run...
