Want free stats for Warcraft3 and The Frozen Throne Expansion? Just follow these easy steps.
1. log in to Battlenet
2. Find Codeine Coma and challenge him to a game. (Normally logged in between 10pm and 6am)
3. Play the game and whatch Codeine Coma lose. He'll try to put up a fight, but, no matter how bad you suck at the game....Codeine Coma sucks a hell of alot more.

Just look at these stats of his....1win/37 losses Lvl.1
And that one win was because someone had ISP problems!

Seriously though, I really suck at these Warcraft games....any advice? I bought a strategy book for them....it still hasn't helped me. Goddamned Rushers!

Strat games like that are all about speed! You'll need to develop it too........

Yeah, speed seeems to be the issue in this matter. whicch sucks cause, I normally like to just relax and play games. Kinda do a more logical mental stimulation thing than a frantic mental stimulation thing. But,oh well. I guess if I wanna win, I'd better speed my arse up!

I feel ya. I suck at Warcraft 3 too. My friend got me the warchest for christmas and has proceeded to kick my ass in it since then. I'm beginning to wonder who that "gift" was really for. :-?

I'm slowly kicking booty in single player campaigns though.

Oh, I don't know. I think you could kick my ass in WarCraft.

I suck at strategy games that don't involve putting a bullet or other projectile through someone's head. (Preferably from a mile or so away)

10-4 Check out Vietcong, by Pterodon and America's Army, by the United States Army both are very good 1st person games

And as far as speed goes for games like Warcraft or C&C Generals you really need to memorize the Technology/Upgrade trees so that there is never a wrong build. Formulate precise plans. Soldier storm is often a great tactic. Build no technology at all, just basic warriors and swarm once your at max units!!!! :) This works in almost any strategy game with slight modification (numbers, upgrades, multiple buildings, ect.)

One of my favorite way to kill ppl in War3 was to be the Night Elves and to simply walk my base to theirs.... 7 or 8 Ancient Trees shambling toward you town! Awesome! Reminiscent of Humans from Starcraft, cept there your base flew!

Can you guess that I like videogames!?!?! :)

Ok, I'm sorta new to RTS. I like it. But I was wondering if anyone could suggest some turn based strategy stuff for the PC? I loved old stuff on the Sega Genesis like Gemfire, Shining Force, Warsong... even Dark Wizard for the Sega-CD. Just wondering if there is something new like that out there?

You really dont see much turned based anymore..... Everyone is moving to Active Stratagy....... However if you wanted to search for it, there's an old game called X-Com that is BAD ASS. It's ancient, but I know I have run it on an XP box. Another good old game like that is called Syndicate.......

Thanks Ogre, I remember when both of those games were out but I never got around to playing them. Partly because I was a big home console snob back in the day. I'm hooked on this RTS stuff now though. I want to play the New Lord of the Rings one... and maybe the Everquest one too... they both look pretty good.

I downloaded America's Army (seeing as it was legal and free and all).

It would've been cool, but after a few minutes of listening to drill sergeants, I finally went postal and started shooting people.

You know what they do, when you do that? They throw you in jail. And there's no way out.

Talk about a sucky game. I play these things to murder people. What good does it do me if I can't go apeshit and kill a superior officer? After all, that's why I installed the game to begin with. :D

Well you know, it was designed to be a recruiting tool, so it's ment to be realistic.... If you hose a superior, you go to the brig, ya know! It is however a really great game, and once you get through the training the real fun strarts!!! You can actually get ranked as a sniper and use the Barret 50cal!!!!!!!!!!

Well, slowly I am getting better at Warcraft3. My stats are 23wins - 78losses. I'm starting to be able to beat most lvl.4 characters. Sad eh? I'm still being called F*cking Noob atleast once a night. Oh well.

If anyone plays give me your screen name and we'll have a battle, team up, or whatever. It would kinda be cool to start the KG Clan on Warcraft 3.

As far as Strat games go... there is a game called Wraith Unleashed due out soon for consoles. As far as I know it will be turn based.

And Iblis....I highly doubt you suck at any games. I've seen your comp. work and progs on this board. They aren't anything to be snuffed at.

I have gotten much better now. I'm ranked #108 in 1v1 now, Lvl.19, have several icons/avatars, and also part of a clan... the DOVv (dragons of war). Anyone still play this game? PM me and we scrap.
It would be fun play Either RoC or FT with someone locally.

I almost never play the actual game, I've gotten much more hooked on the custom maps within WC3 like Wintermaul Wars and DOTA. You should try them sometime, very fun little games. My account name is Frankalicious if you ever want to play any games.
