Pre-Sanctus KFAR Benefit at Pilot Light - 3/21/04

KFAR will be holding a benefit at the Pilot Light in the Old City - and what a coincidence, it's on the same night as Sanctus, so no one has an excuse not to come by. It starts at 8:00, two hours before Sanctus, so everyone can swing by and get their pre-Sanctus buzz on. At this point, there aren't any bands scheduled to play, but there will be a Sifl and Olly marathon playing. I've never seen them before, but they're apparently sock-puppets or somesuch. Should be a hoot. If anyone has any community info they want transmitted over the airwaves, drop it by and we'll see that it gets announced. Also, if there's any music you want to hear on my show (Mondays and Wednesdays, 1:00-4:00 p.m.), burn it to disk, along with a track listing - including your own music or a friend's - and I'll see what I can do to get it on for you. There is no cover at the door, but donations are encouraged and heartily appreciated. So make a full night of it: support Knoxville's only community radio station and then go to Sanctus for some serious booty-shakin'.

And now that the tower has reached its full height, if you live anywhere in Knoxville or the surrounding areas, try to tune us in on your radio and let me know where you're at and how the signal sounds. This is muy importante, since we're trying to figure out what our coverage is now.
And if you missed Arkady's premiere performance, the first real show on the newly refurbished KFAR, then you missed a helluva show! And if you were tuned into one of those schlocky burger-pimpin' corporate stations instead - well, you suck.
But anyway, let us know where you're at and whether or not you can hear us...

Nope. They're typically 18 and over.

Won't be any problem on Sanctus Sunday.

See ya there, Coor - and Audra and Elisha. And c'mon, Ibbie, maybe with a little less primping....you're already a sexy bitch; skip the mascara.
