Bad news:

an fcc agent apparently stopped by today, march 25, before noon,
ordering us to CEASE TRANSMITTING immediately. his signature and
badge number are on the papers posted.

reasons cited were: a) no license & b) possible interference with
emergency broadcast channels.

More details to come.

... to hell with broadcasting over the radio, just turn KFAR into a 100% internet stream. Radio is so 20th century anyways ... :)

I hope you guys can get back on the air, but even if you cannot ... please do keep the internet stream going! It's one of the few refuges I get from the usual Rush Limbaugh/Religious Right radio talk show ...

The FCC can bite my ass. One way or another, we'll keep broadcasting. Anybody wanna volunteer for station watch detail? We might need some extra eyes...
Stay tuned for more info. We'll be getting out all the pertinent names and numbers you'll need to raise the appropriate brouhaha. This is literally the last bastion for free and uncensored speech in the area and we're not going to let the government silence yet another voice...
