Life - what is it?

Post by Black Metallic »

Maybe this is way off topic, but I am finding it a very hard pill to swallow. What is the point? To collect crap we can't take with us? To kill whomever doesn't agree with our like of thinking, ala the Roman doctrine. I just don't get it any more. I am not asking why we are here - we are here, but whats the use? Probably a downer of a subject but I am really, really strugaling (yeah I spelled it wrong) with this. I should be "living life to the fullest" now (32 no kids, not married, no bills) but it just doesn't mean anything to me... Maybe I should have been on some battlefield 1200 years ago swinging an axe. Its like I am lost with the current, being pushed and pulled about. Short answer - what is there to look forward to?
Its all about the oontz.

life is what you make of it.
life doesnt happen, you MAKE life happen.the answer your looking for is simple.what do you want to look forward to happen? go make it happen.life really isnt so bad when your constantly going out there and doing what you wanna do.
mine was being as "motley crue meets punk rock" as i could be for years.... so ive got tons of crazy stories and people say how so early?shit aint early to me, i just made it happen sooner.
look at all youve accomplished in your life.now look at all you can.
in the end, your not your possessions, titles, roles, friend, enemy, family, anything.your just you.what you do with that is up to you
but why not continually go out there and find the shit that makes you happy and do it.thats something no marriage, kids, goth scene, or song can do for you.its something you do for you.
it boils down to this:
youve got as much to look forward as you can imagine being there.
how you gonna do it?
fear, failure, loss... none of these are options.just your life.
some of the most staggering success stories happen to people in the 40s or beyond because it takes em that long to figure it out
you need to figure out what you want to look forward to and go do it.
remember this: theres no reason to ever feel depressed over the past, frustrated with the present, or woe towards the future but we all do it.
we do it because sometimes realizing everything in out lives just happened, somethings we controlled, others we didnt, others we caused and never even knew it.
but you cant let that consume you, just wave the ol hat and say thats what got you where you are.
now that you know where you are, you can decide where your going.
cheers to being in control of our fate, may no government, insane members of the interested sex, or sudden disaster take that away from us.
enjoy the ride, may you go far.- JC.
