When ever I try to take any kind of diet... I get grumpy because I know what I WANT and I know I can't have it... chocolate for instance can only be consumed in moderation....That alone gets me riled and I often take it out on my family. If I become sad it's because my worrisome habit of asking myself " do I look fat in this?".....I worry about what people at school think of me and I hide in my arms and slope in to my desk glancing around to see if anyone's looking at me...I am afraid to talk to boys for fear that I'll embarrass myself ( or them) and be made fun of . I think, though I'm not on the Atkins diet, that this "Atkins attitude" thing is a proven fact.....with any diet really.......that's just my opinion though.....

It's amazing the way the Atkins diet has affected the cost of food over the last year or so. Last summer, beef tenderloin prices were at like $6.50 per lb. by December of last year they skyrocketed up to over $10.00 per lb. We almost took it off our menu. Dairy ( has no carbs ) has gotten crazy as of late. And Chicken, the cheapest meat in the world has more than doubled in price per lb. in the last 3 months. This diet is the most successfull I've ever seen.
