when I was young I remember one of my dad's best friend's had a dog who had no use of his hind legs, I can't recall if it was due to illness or injury, but he had a really nifty contraption that was essentially a skate board attached to his hips with extensions on it so it was as tall as his legs. he was pretty good at getting around on it, I was quite impressed (course I was like 6 or something, but still)

That's just cruel! They shouldn't do that to a dog...if you are having a hard time with obedience training, that should be a VERY LAST RESORT. I mean come on...

I would never do that to my dog...she's eight years old and she's never been taught to "don't sit...keep walking! or I'll pull your butt by a leash." (Not many dogs ever need to be taught that I hope.) That's a little pushy don't you guys think? :?: :?: :?: :-(

I had a friend in Chicago that had a 3 legged epileptic cat named "Tard". Born that way. I have never in my life seen an animal that could round a corner with such percision on a full run. Not to mention how freaky it was when the cat would be walking across the room and just drop to the floor and start flipping out. (REALLY bad when your trippin'. (almost took it to the emergency room once lol))

I know it's not the same as the subject. Just thought it fit...

What has caused Angel's paralisis? The carts are supposed to be really good, but I understand that they are also expensive.Has the vet said if surgery would help.Is she walking at all? I have a cat with asthma and know how much you worry about the little fuzzy guys.
