Sunshine glistening off black shape
Tendrils of faith & blasphemy
Wretched in it's own disguise
Fiend like no other
Oh, mirror
Tell me what lurks inside
I wait...
Paitiently but, get no reply
Is it a pet or creature?
Slave or abomination?
Tell me what twists inside?
What leads me to temptation?
This black lotus inside it's flower-like filth & sorrow
Taunting the sun, as it spreads it's bat-winged bloom
These things I imagine as the source of my dementia
As the sunlight bleeds into the room...

I could say something about this poem, but what's the point? Because I am the "girlfriend" it doesn't amount to dick. In the end an outsiders response will hold more ground than mine, simply because it can't be bias.
I did enjoy this, as I enjoy all of Trevor's poetry. It is for the most part the only reason I go on here.

I love the imagery: tendrils of faith and blasphemy....flower-like filth and sorrow.....bat-winged bloom.....sunlight bleeds

I think I've apologized for all that and have yet to do it since. I wasn't really being mean, and even said I was being "sarcastic". Although now looking back, I do think it was a bit cruel..hence my apology.
(btw, hows the view from there?)
