Forgot to mention, this movies gonna suck.

I saw the trailer when I saw Troy, People were laughing at it.

I'm looking forward to it. I don't understand why it's getting so much flak.

Most of the flak comes from the complete dropping of the source material and what may be the cheesiest superhero costume ever flaunted in front of a camera. Bluntman and Chronic looked better...

A black woman, Ertha Kitt I want to say, was one of the actressses to portray her back in the old Adam West Batman days...Back when Catwoman had some ties with the Batman universe... Back when stilletto heels were appropriate superhero / villain attire as opposed to open toed sandles and ripped leather.

This movie pisses me off.

When I first heard about it being made, I got excited.

When I heard that Halle Berry was to play catwoman, I got pissed. But, at least she isn't going by the name Selina Kyle.

Catwoman is Selina Kyle, dammit, and she is not black. She is latino/white.

Then I heard that they were saying they weren't trying to disgrace Selina. That they are making it out like there are catwomen all over the world, and that Selina just chose to be what she is with her gifts. I was like, well, maybe I might give it a chance. As long as it doesn't disgrace one of my all time favorite comics.

But, then, I saw the previews. I'm pissed all over again!!

Batman Returns came out in '89. The Crow '94. Cats brought Kyle back to life in Batman Returns. I believe thats the basis for the quote and idea. And Michelle Phifer wore lots of vinyl in that movie.

Race changes in comic movies are not uncommon. Daredevil, Spawn, and I'm sure others.

Eartha Kitt and Halle Berry are mixed. It is not uncommon for mixed people to play the role of caucasians. Vin Diesel does all the time.

I agree! I like RT for the numerous reviews. We all knew this one was going to get shit canned though, didn't we? Another sad example of a project that had good ingrediants and poor execution. That's what you get for making a comic book movie and ignoring the fanboys.

I remember years ago, when they were talking about making a Catwoman movie. I love Catwoman ( or did). I loved the Catwoman we saw in Batman Returns. Michelle Pfeiffer was yummy, sarcastic and so very classy.
Then I saw a preview for the new one, and thought, "Well maybe it will be ok. ..." Until I saw the costume and the acting.
Halle Berry is at best a cat in perpetual heat. Ick !
