1 pint of blood lost to a hollow needle
1 hour spent waiting in line for the privilege of said needle
5 extra vials full of blood for testing
2 spoons full of cookie dough since then to keep my energy above sleeping levels so as to cope with daughter.
1 interesting old guy trying to teach German phrases in the chair next to me, pity he didn't get there sooner.
