I have an expensive rubber shirt that I got in Chicago. My cat decided to get in my closet and jump for it as a toy while I was at work. She took out a 3" x 3" x 3" triangle from the bottom of it. (almost fed her to the dogs)
Any ideas on how I might repair it? :-(

um usually after rubber splits , its over.I have never seen repaired rubber, and even if you could, the integrity of the material has already been compramised....I would continue wearing it,,,, but if it splits all the way up, the only thing you could do is make it into something else.

Get a raft or vinyl repair kit, patch it on the inside. About the best you can hope for. Sure you'll have a line, but at least it should be semi-stable.

That's what I was thinking. At first I thought of melting them together, but it's to risky to figure out what heat source to use without destroying it. Good ole patch kit it is. Thanx people

I am going to order some rubber off of the internet and experiment with making outfits.....if it is black, clear blue, or white, I can probably repair it for you, but yet again, the intergrety of the fabric has alread been compromised
