My Fairytale..
The light falls upon a crying face
Sobbing in his blatant disgrace
He weeps to a form in the night
His soul yurning for the moonlit sky
His trembling hands fall to blackened Earth
Grasping pieces of the broken turf
He brings his face to aching hands
As tears of pain fill the land
His heart once again lay broken
To be unwillingly mended again
On the ground he falls choking
On his lifes final grain of sand.
Benevolent hands pierce through the sky
Shaking the man from his somber cry
Her hands soft, her heart pure
Lifting him from his moonlit chore
Breathing into him, a breath of life
Ripping him from his pain and strife
She spoke the three sweet words
Her voice as beautiful as the songful birds.
Her eyes stare at him, long and hard
As if studying the broken shard.
Her warm, soft lips brush against his cheek
Then beside his ear she did speak
The soft words fell from her warm, sweet breath
Again those three soft words had been said
Together they sat, hand to hand, and face to face.
Staring deep into eachothers eyes, their hearts began to race...
Together now beneath midnight stars
Ignoring all his demented flaws
Till the end of all the mending
To their life's happy ending
The light falls upon a crying face
Sobbing in his blatant disgrace
He weeps to a form in the night
His soul yurning for the moonlit sky
His trembling hands fall to blackened Earth
Grasping pieces of the broken turf
He brings his face to aching hands
As tears of pain fill the land
His heart once again lay broken
To be unwillingly mended again
On the ground he falls choking
On his lifes final grain of sand.
