Wedding Invitation

First a story they tell,
Once there was a boy who wanted more then anything a rose. Everyone else had a rose but him and he was starting to feel very left out. Some boys even switched out roses and even had more then one rose. But he just wanted one. But there was a problem. Roses had thorns and this boy did not want to get hurt. He did not understand that thorns were a part of life and a part of love. He would look at roses, and sometimes even smell them but was too afraid to pick one. Eventually he fooled himself into thinking that he really didn't want a rose. Roses wilt and die off don‘t they? How pointless it would be to have a rose. So he walled himself up into his Library Citadel where he would have books and music and converse with a few comrades of like mind.
Then one day he saw a rose outside his door. It was the most beautiful rose he had ever seen. It was a deep red, deeper then blood and deeper then wine. It was the color of love. And he wanted to pick this flower so bad but he was scared of the thorns. Day after day he would pass this rose by thinking about picking it but always backing off. One day he looked at the rose for a long time and before he could think otherwise plucked it out of the ground forsaking all fears of being hurt. He took it inside the Library Citadel and cared for it and gave it food to nourish. Something amazing happened. The flower did not wilt and stayed as beautiful as when he first saw it.

Wedding is September 25 at Piney Level Church in Maryville at two p.m. After some consideration I've decided to make on open invitation. I was going to email a nice invitation but knew that I would be bound to forget someone. And they would get mad and say "Well why the hell didn't you invite me" and I'll be forced to say "Well because I'm a big dummy."
Besides off hand there's nobody I wouldn't want to come that I have had the pleasure of knowing through the 11th street coffee shop, Sanctus, Knox Gothic, and The End. Your'e a wonderful set of people no matter what you might think of each other.
Will be happy to see you there and if you know someone who would like to come that doesn't read these boards go ahead and invite them.
