We had a short black out, and Dr. Thoss said that he had an eight hour black out + his windshield got cracked pretty badly and will have to be replaced.

Outside if ruining my plans for the matrix, there were no real problems at my house. How ever "westland" (about 1/2 mile from my house) was trashed, there were several large trees down and just general chaos.

ReddErin and I drove right through the eye of it, on Middlebrook, around 5pm. So much hail you couldn't see 20ft. On the radio, they were saying, at that moment, that someone had spotted a tornado or funnel cloud in our location, moving SE, at 25mph. We looked around, but did'nt see it. Of course, We couldn't see through all the hail.

We barely got rain up here in north Knoxville. Old City was dry as welll.

Apparantly the storm gods don't like the clutter of West Knoxville

*ducking*

As JaNell reported, I had a cracked windshield and no power (and a lot of spoiled food). Also several hours of overtime last night running around in the rain -- it wasn't as bad as it could have been, had the tornado actually touched down rather than flying more or less overhead. The weather service says it wasn't a bad one -- Morgan Co, again, got the brunt of this thing.

My mom was at the intersection of cedar bluff and middlebrook...her truck was picked up and put in the other lane in the middle of the intersection....a few seconds later...one of the stop lights fell were the truck had been...

So, if it hadn't moved her, she might have been killed by a falling stoplight....

I live near huntington place and we caught a big chunk of the storm. I was pretty freaked out. Hiding in the hallway of the lobby of an high rise building. You could hear the building creek and the windows get hit with hail.
Im glad it's over.

Did anyone see the rainbow afterwards?!

I took many pix from my window:

We were ( Vampyrya, and myself ) at Rookies on N. Peters. Just ordered hot wings, got my Ice tea and blam. Wind with some cyclonic action, rain and hail. The electricity went out and I did not get my .10 wings  We had to move away from the windows for fear they would break . On the way home ( Cedar bluff and Middlebrook Pike ) seems alot of you were in the area. Several stop lights were in the street, man those things are heavy, plus sereral street sighs twisted off there pole. Several trees down, and across the street from Brusters a tree pancaked a garage. Next to the vegatable stand that sells mulch. Work closed for the 1st time in 10 years :D . They had no power for 13hrs. A tree fell on several cars in our parking lot near the 4620 club. This was near where the tree and power lines trapped several people in there cars for hours.

I was at the mall getting a present for Mich for her gradumication. When the power went out at the mall. Next thing I know mall officials are hearding us into this cinderblock tunnel thing at the mall. Where I got stuck for like... 2 hours! Stupid Tornados! Then all the power was out so all of knoxville traffic is trying to go down Kingston with no traffic lights.. I DON'T think so. I went back roads. I avoided most of the crap. I did see several uprooted trees. It was fun! *glare*
