greetings and salutations and things... i've actually recently transplanted myself to knoxville from the nashville/murfreesboro area (i know i've met one or two of you at asylum and possibly nv)... i've meant to pop on and post a quick 'hello,' but these new confounded graduate classes are keeping me rather swamped and (sadly enough) a homebody... all the same, the site and forum have been articles of high recommendation to me, so i figured i'd take a minute out of my sunday evening to poke my head from behind the curtain and say good morning...

quick little bits about me: i'm 25, mother of a beautiful autistic angel of a daughter. i'm going after my M.A. in English at UT with a concentration in creative writing, because, well. i want to be just *that more useless* to the world in general. i have obsessions with highways and striped toe-socks and alice in wonderland. i dabble in web design and hypertext fiction, here and there. and, sometimes, i have dreams about being bitten my sharks in the middle of restaurants in chinatown in NYC. seriously.

wonderful to meet you, and make myself known...
