I wonder if it will see use by the fashion industry or military first.. I mean, what better way to shave off a couple of inches than simply projecting a thinner, more attractive image of yourself through your clothing. Not that those two things go precisely hand in hand.
And while it'll probably be far too expensive for a good while, the artistry of the fetish work that could be done with it is mind-boggling, no doubt it will become somewhat of an artistic element in the next few years.


On the other hand, it's not like any of that couldn't be done with photo-shop already, unless it were a live display.. Hrmm.
You could certainly test the boundries of nudity taboos, slip into voyeurism.. I can only imagine what would be done if a skin-design were available, as sufficiently advanced technology would allow you to, visually at least, switch between sexes, or even ages at will. That would certainly be an interesting exhibit..

Man and woman, from baby to adulthood to elder years, projected through skin-tight outfits on your models... The range of possible displays are quite the interesting puzzle to ponder.
