My copy arrived and there's a plan for a viewing of this for those who are interested over at DeadJester's place next Wednesday night (Nov 3). There should be beverages and snacks, but for anyone wanting booze, BYO. I think we'll be at 11th Street early in the evening then head on over to DeadJester's. So anyone interested can meet with us there. I'll get a more exact time in a few days.

This will actually be postponed. Wednesday night is not a good night. However, is anyone actually interested in seeing this? Someone posted a trailer for this movie in another thread.

Let me know what you think. I've been meaning to get this. I'm waiting on a couple of new Miike movies (Zebraman and One Missed Call) and House of Flying Daggers - Which looks GREAT. Where do you order your imports? I hit the Ebay myself.

I get my Asian movies either from Yum-yum Anime or CD Japan. The ones from CD Japan, where I got "Casshern", are region 2 but I have an all region player.
I still haven't watched it. Been looking for a night for a group of us to get together and watch.
I'm looking forward to "House of Daggers" as well. A manager at Downtown West said that they'll be getting that early next year.

I just got an ad from this site called Red Sun DVD. They are carrying all-Region versions of "Casshern", "Zebraman", and the "House of Flying Daggers", along with many others. I think they used to be called Hong Kong Cinema where I ordered my copy of "Battle Royale". May be worth checking out.

Thanks! Prices look reasonable. Got my copies of Flying Daggers, One Missed Call and Zebraman last night. I watched One Missed Call, and let me just say that it is not going on my list of "favored" Miike films. It was not horrible, but nothing was outstanding and nothing made me want to see it over and over again. It had its Miike moments though, most noteable being the film studio and the ending. I love how he just doesn't give a shit sometimes
