I hate to ask for help (stubborn, proud me) but...

I just lost my job. Now that the busy season is over, they don't need me to work. So, I'm now looking for a full-time job to last me until I go back to school in January. I have my HS diploma, some computer experience, etc. Know of any place that is hiring FT for a while? Help a poor girl out

Well, Talbots is perpetually hiring. I'm not sure when the next class starts, but you can always put your application in. It's call center work, so you need to be able to sit still, and training starts off part time, so yeah, not at all what you're asking for.. But the Customer Sales & Service pays 10.50 an hour starting, so it's better than nothing. They're at 2160 lakeside center, just off Northshore, behind the McDonald's/gas station. Big sign on the building, hard to miss. Go up to the 3rd floor and you can fill out an application.

I know of nothing that would work out until January.

Talbots is hell. do not work there. ACN is better. They are always hiring as well.

gc services, not only would you not be expected to still be working there in january, but you'd probably make it to upper management if you were to stay that long
