In addition, as I post this, Nevada has been declared won by Bush, which cements the election for him even regardless of Ohio.

I just want to break down and cry. There'll be no losing this scared feeling of my life going down the drain now.

Of course, these aren't "official" until the electors vote, and 24 states do not require them to vote based upon the popular vote.

all morning i've had a very turtle-like reaction to the election results thus far. 'it's not official, nothing is definite, i can't hear you, la la laaaa.'

now the sinking feeling is creeping into the pit of my tummy. i can't, i just can't believe this is happening.

The Republicans really got out the vote, beating the Democrats at their own game. Scare tactics & moral superiority apparently did the trick. My only comfort is knowing that their agenda is more appealing to older, more conservative America & more of them die off every year. I've made 2 liberal offspring to fight the good fight after I'm gone, & converted my Dad, a life long Republican, before he died. Don't wait for it to be another election year, guys. We've got to convince more people of the truth... Bush is wrong for America & so is the Republican party.

My 2 cents.

Yay! Time for more bombing of the brown people. Man, wouldn't it be fun if all this is just a horrible nightmare that we are all sharing? Wow! I think I am going to go drink some bleach now. :banghead: :fire:

I've been made aware that some ladies are shaving their bushes off in protest.

There is a positive...

Shaving off body hair is not a protest. I'm hoping for bigger. I'm just not smart enough to start something.

My son's classmates had their own small riot today. The kids who 's parents supported Bush were running around asking the other kids who they had supported & when they found a Kerry supprter, they called them names & taunted them. My boy said one kid stood up to them & went off on Bush's social policy stances, leaving the offending baby shrubbies quite dumb founded. A total of 20 something kids got sent to the office.

Being a bad winner is far worse than being a bad loser, in my opinion.
